Password consistently doesn't work after 2-3 weeks

You need to contact them directly if you can't access the account.

You may have forget your password
you can reset your password by using these three options
1. reset your password using alternate email id
2. reset your password using security questions
3. reset your password using your phone number

Yahoo changed their security and you need to go in and change your password. Just go into the I forgot my password and start the change process.

There is a keep me signed in (aka remember me) option when you login. Check it. It will still ask every couple of weeks. This is their policy and no way around it.

Yahoo also uses security seal (image, color, or text) you can choose to identify you. Use it. Passwords are hacked all the time. Mine was, doh!

Make sure Keep me signed in for 2 weeks unless I sign out. is checked when you log in to Yahoo! Mail.

Do not click Sign Out at the top of any Yahoo! page.

Make sure your Yahoo! account's Prompt for Password setting is Every 2 weeks:

• Go to your Yahoo! account info.
• Follow the Edit link under Member Information.
• Make sure Every 2 Weeks is selected under Prompt for Password:.
• Click Finished.

Do not clear your browser cookies manually.

Make sure your browser does not delete cookies when you shut it down.

Set browser extensions and anti-spyware software not to clear cookies or to exclude cookies from the "yahoo.com" domain.

If your Yahoo account password doesn't work, you will have to reset the password by using the Yahoo password reset wizard.

To open the password reset wizard, click here

Then on the page which opens, select "My password doesn't work" from the options and click Next.

Enter your email id and also identify and enter the security code displayed in the captcha box.

Now click Next button. On the next page, select the alternate email id or the answers to the two security questions which you have provided while registering the email account.

You will then receive a password reset email from Yahoo on your alternate email address.

Follow the instructions in the email to reset the password. Hope this solves your problem.

You may have to reset your password.

Click Yahoo's "I forgot my password" link.
Correctly answer your "secret" questions.
Then, Yahoo will let you change your password.

However, if the "hacker" has changed those questions, then you need to contact Yahoo, and report that your ID has been "hijacked".

Please try *#7380# for soft reset or *#7370# for hard reset, then if enter correctly it will prompt you for a security password, that is consist of 5 digit. Or if it doesn't work, you can go to settings > Restore Factory Settings, that should work as well.
