Trying to switch tv to xbox 360 & lost the remote - pleasse adivse how to switch to video to play XBOX 360 - thanks

    WE HAVE THE RCA TV MODEL F3567MB AND HAVE LOST OUR REMOTE TO IT. NOW WE CANNOT PLAY OUR Wii,GUITAR HERO,OR EVEN OUR DVD/VCR COMBO. I WOULD JUST LIKE INFO ON WHERE I CAN BUY ANOTHER REMOTE CONTROL SO I EILL NOT HAVE TO BUY A NEW TV. PLEASE HELP.

I asume your game systems and dvd player are hooked up via the rca inputs.So all you would need to do is purchase a universal remote,program it for your tvand press ch00 which should be the video input.make sure your dvd or game system is on so you know if you are on the right channel

You have to use your original Tv remote. You cannot use the XBOX 360 remote. thats for the 360..If you have lost your original tv remote.. by a new one.

Xbox 360 hookup problem
Check the video cable coming out of the xbox, depending on which model xbox it is (arcade, pro, elite etc.) it will most likely have both component cables - green, blue and red or RCA cables - Yellow, red and white. It sounds as if your JVC would only be able to run RCA cables (due to its age) so use the yellow cable for video and white and red (or just white if you only have a yellow and white input) and then make sure the switch located on the cable is switched to "standard" and not "hi definition" hope it helps. Audio set up to xbox 360
There would be a RED,YELLOW,WHITE input cables that you would hook up to the back, there should be a Video mode on you remote turn it to one of the input channels and you should be fine.. Thanks and please rate.

XBOX 360 Elite RCA video connection problem
On the TV you should have a video, input or mode button. If you press that button while the 360 is on it should pickup the signal. You need to be in video mode instead of cable mode since you are using the red, yellow, white cables. Many TVs have a few video modes so press it wait a few seconds and try again if it does not work.
