What is the make and model?

You need to get to the boot loader menu. Press and hold the volume down button, then power up the device while keeping the volume down key pressed, that will get you into the boot loader.
The first thing you should try is just to select the option that lets you restart the phone.

If the phone doesn't restart successfully, get into the boot loader again and select safe mode. if the phone lets you into safe mode, try deleting any extra files and/or apps that you most recently downloaded then restart the phone.

If that doesn't work, repeat the steps above to get into the boot loader and then select factory data reset. This will completely reset the phone to factory specs, this is a last resort option, but it will get rid of whatever is causing the phone to have issues.

If none of that works, you need to contact your cell phone provider to see if they can do anything for you.

Perform a straightforward reset procedure on your iPod Touch if you are experiencing issues like freezing, unresponsive apps, delays or other other problems. Carry out a reset if your iPod doesn't respond when you attempt to restart the unit. This type of reset will not erase any content from your iPod Touch.

Locate the "Sleep/Wake" button on the top of the iPod Touch. Press and hold down the "Sleep/Wake" button and the "Home" button simultaneously. Continue to hold both buttons for at least 10 seconds. No need to remove latch unit. Just spray with a good quality grease. ie lanolin or silicon. This usually fixes the problem. Don't use WD40 or any of the derivatives as thil will attract dust etc and cause more trouble

1. Turn Off printer, cable power still plug in.

2. Press Stop/Reset button, don't release the button.

3. Press Power button by holding without release and than release Stop/Reset Button.

4. Press Stop/Reset button two times (2x) now release the Power Button.

5. Wait until service mode to zero (0).

6. Turn off the Printer, cable power still plug in.

7. Press Stop/Reset button, don't release it.

8. Press Power button don't release & than release Stop/Release button.

9. Press Stop/Reset button four times (4x), wait until service mode to "1"

10. Turn off printer, and loose cable power, wait for one (1) minute.

11. Connect cable power, turn on printer again, now this printer ready to use.

Try the following steps:

1. Disconnect and reconnect the reader
2. If you are using a desktop computer connect the reader to the back ports
3. Try another USB cord (the one you use for the digital camera for example)
4. Disconnect the reader and turn it off. Hit the reset button at the bottom for 3 seconds and turn it back on. Check if the reader is recognized now.

If none of these steps work, you may check if your USB ports are not 3.0 (just launched) try another computer. Also you can try a hard reset. This will set the unit to factory settings and will delete all content:

1. Disconnect the Reader
2. Hit the Reset button at the bottom of the Reader
3. While the reader shows 'Opening Book...' press and hold the 'Back' button and the 'Volume Up' (+) both at the same time until reset all appears
4. Once you do that you will get a confirmation saying that all content will be removed you just tap to accept

Do this, with the door open:
Remove cover from assembly by sliding cover up and off. You will then see the program button.
A programmed code can be from four (4) to eight (8) digits long.
Up to 2 user codes can be entered.
Excess delay in the programming steps once started will cause unit to beep twice and will require you to restart from step (a).

Programming the first User Code:
a. Press the program button on the interior unit once.
b. Enter in 4 to 8 digit code onto the keypad.
c. Press the "LOCK" button to save code.
d. Extend the bolt by pressing the "LOCK" button and re-enter the code to test. The bolt should retract to the unlocked position. If it does not unlock, repeat steps (a) through (c).

Programming the second User Code:
a. Press the program button on the interior unit twice.
b. Enter in 4 to 8 digit code onto the keypad.
c. Press the "LOCK" button to save code.
d. Extend the bolt by pressing the "LOCK" button and re-enter the code to test. The bolt should retract to the unlocked position. If it does not unlock, repeat steps (a) through (c).

After programming in just one new code, the existing old code may still work. I suggest that if this is the case, that you program in two codes to make sure that the old one is over-written. You may try programming in the same new code both times if you don't want to have two codes.

You don't say what happens when you use front panel controls. This is possibly not a remote control issue.

Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4.

Special Note:
If you have a digital camera, camcorder or camera phone you can test the remote to see if it is emitting a signal. You should see a light (steady, blink or flashing) being emitted from the remote. If you do then the problem might not be the remote but the sensor on the unit.

Turn off your mobile and then pull out the storage card, Restart your device, it should work now !!!

Solution: Hold down the power and delay start button at the same time. In about 3-4 seconds a beep will occur and the red key lock will turn off. I think it is a problem in the machines firmware. I just guessed at what combination of buttons the engineers used to do a firmware reset. In any case it worked for me.
