Red faces My television keeps getting darker. When I first turn it on the faces are red and then by the minute they get darker and darker. By the middle of the show the screen is back. It just started doing this within the last few days and I've un hooked all jacks and still no luck. I've unplugged it and that didn't help either. Please HELP!!!
You will need a qualified TV technician for this, as there are no user servicable parts in your set, but there are hazardous voltages present, even when the set is off & unplugged.

1. Make and Model of the TV? 2. Count the Number of Blinks? Unplug the Unit for Few Minutes, say 10 Minutes and then Turn ON. then Count the Number of Blinks? 3. Do you have Tools like Multimeter to repair it?
Please recheck Lamp Cover and make sure it is fixed in its space securely as 3 times red blink shows lamp cover error. There is small safety switch in TV cabinet under lamp cover that has to be pushed by lamp cover if it is fixed in its position properly. That switch is not being pressed by lamp cover and causing this error. Thanks.
souns like an over heating isue

use the advanced options page and reset the factor blue and red convergence defaults then do re apply the auto color defaults color at first it seemed very red (which is good because red was the missing factor in the green picture) but after reseting all the color and tints to the normal ranges I then reset the color auto correct again and all seems fine.
