I'm having the same problem, did you find a solution?

change your bettaries

check on the underside for a "manual" drawer release button

press 1and press CL Key

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

press CL key ,didnt change display,

when power on & remove your batteries one by one
then replace batteries again one by one

display **** MRS *************** and press CL key

then machine came normal condition

but your data is lost.
reenter your detailss

Just hit Clear (CL)
