Mitsubishi Model WD-52725 timer green light blinking fast

My name is Savy
I have a Mitsubishi television Model WD-52725, Series# 121953 purchased on January 2005
Two days ago, the timer light was blinking fast nonstop color green. I couldn't turn on the tv. Even when I pressed the restart button. Do you know what the problem is? And about how much will it be to fix it? Thank You

We purchased the TV on November 22, 2004, It had to be replaced with a new set on Dec.4, 2004 due to not working properly.

Dec. 4, 2006, the lamp burned out and we replaced it for a cost of $250. My husband took out the old lamp and installed the new lamp, otherwise it was another $80 for a repairman to do it.

Aug. 26, 2008, a repairman came to the house and took out the insides of the TV, said it had to be sent to the Mitsiubishi factory to be rebuilt and should be back in 3 to 4 weeks. It came back home on Oct. 10, 2008.

The flashing green light started acting up again within two weeks. My husband was working out of town and only used the TV on Sat.nights and part of Sunday.

Dec.15, 2008, this time the repairman took the whole TV, insides and outsides. Said it would be checked at his shop and shipped to the Mitsubishi factory to be rebuilt and it would be at least 5 weeks until it would be back to his shop.

I do not know how much the repairs have cost, because at the time of purchase, we fortunately had purchased the five year service warranty coverage for $329.95.

This is the most expensive set we have ever purchased and also the most troublesome.

I have the same problem and tried cleaning the filter to see if that would work.  It didn't work.  Still blinking and no power.

I have the same problem. I bought this television in 2005 and this problem started last year. I would switch off the TV then start after 15 minutes or keep hitting the reset button and would start in 5 minutes.

But now even that is not working. The light has been blinking for the past 2 days and I cant think of anything but throwing this in the garage and buying a new TV.

But can the person who got the help from Mitsubishi post the steps please? I called then today and they are closed until Monday morning.

    Any help is appreciated.

I bought this television in 2004 and this problem started last year (around 6 months ago). I used reset and switched off the power and restart in 15 minutes and would work. So far around 10 times.

But yesterday night it started the same problem and nothing working and blinking for the past 1 day.

Can the gentleman who got the help from Mitsubishi give the steps? I called Mitsubishi and they are closed until Monday morning.

Any help or suggestion is appreciated.

My Mitsubishi WD52725 will not turn on...the timer light is blinking. We pushed the reset button, unplugged tv. Just got off the phone with Mitsubishi customer "service." After answering numerous personal questions, and being on hold for several minutes, I was told that the only solution was to push the reset button. Duh! We'd done that several times with no change, which is why I called them! BIG WASTE OF TIME!!!!

Mitsubishi model WD-52725 has a fast blinking timer light on constantly and tv will not power up. Tried unplugging and resetting with no success. Now What?

It sounds like you need to replace the lamp for your TV unit. Also don't forget to replace the lamp use hours timer otherwise the TV unit will not recognize a new lamp has been installed. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Green timer light blinks fast after power loss

If this is a Mitsubishi you have a problem on the dm board, if it is a wd series there are some capacitors that buldge on the top that can cause this, if it is a ws series then you usually have to have the dm board replaced.
