Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

Hi! I have a Samsung HT-TZ315R home theater system and I am trying to connect the two surround speakers with the main unit using the Samsung SWA-4000 WIRELESS TRANSMITτER MODULE but it doesn't work. I followed the manual step by step pressing the buttons "0", "1", "3", "5" on the remote control and kept pressing the "SET ID" button for 5 seconds on the wireless module so that the main unit and the wireless module can sync but it doesn't work. Can you please help me out?

I do not understand why my wireless module will not connect to the main receiver unit. I have tried pressing 0135 on the remote while the power is turned off the main unit while the wireless module is on standby. after entering 0135, I immediately hold down the id set button for 5 seconds and release. Immediately after the 5 seconds passes, I turned the power on the main unit, and it does not connect, it only blinks blue until it eventually goes to standby again. please help as this can be very frustrating after spending lots of money on this system

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.

Mine was doing the same thing. My simple solution was to turn the wireless card over. It fits in my samsung both ways and I had it upside down...duh. turned it right side up and everything checked perfectly. :)

Make sure you have the wires hooked up to the 2 back speakers and then stick the wireless moduel near the 2 speakers in the back. The blue light on the moduel should stay a steady blue.

Can one use a TX card to view a movie on a tablet on the tv screen?

The Samsung TX card is used to send part of the audio signal from the main unit to the wireless module that controls the surround sound (rear) speakers for a Samsung Home Theater system. It isn't going to act like a ChromeCast device for your tablet.

The Samsung AH81-04177J (SWA-4000) is only compatible with a small number of Samsung Home Theater systems. see http://www.samsungparts.com/Products/Parts_and_Accessories/PID-AH81-04177J.aspx . One of the supported systems is the Samsung HT-BD3252, https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/blu-ray-home-theater-ht-bd3252-series . See the manual of the home theater system for more information: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201104/20110419185210639/HT-BD3252A_XAA_0807[1].pdf .

I hope this helps.

My SWA-5000 is not connecting to my main unit, which is a samsung blu-ray home theater system. I have already tried what it has said on the manual, but it still wont turn on, it is just on standby. Please...

start with the main unit turned off. Press and hold the button on the back of the swa-5000 module until the light on front starts blinking fast. Then point the remote at the main unit and press 0-1-3-5-ENTER. The standby light on the main unit should turn off then back on. Turn on the main unit and it should find and link with the wireless amp.

Will a swa 5000 tx card fit a ht-tz225 home theater ststem

Unfortunately it would appear not. I just bought an SWA 5000 for my HT TZ 225 home threatre system as it would seem the SWA 4000 has been discontinued - the HT-TZ225 refers to the SWA 4000 doesn't it.

The tx card that accompanied the SWA 5000 was too big and did not fit in the back of the DVD player so I will have to return this to the retailer and keep looking for an SWA 4000 . . .

Unless anyone has another solution.

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

I keep getting the 'rear check' message on the tower panel display and all cables are connected what could this be this is on my new HT-TXQ120 DVD HOME THEATER SYSTEM

With the home theater system off, press and hold the REMAIN button on the home theater's remote control for 5 seconds.
Note: You can release the REMAIN button when the POWER LED blinks blue.

With the wireless module turned on, use a ball point pen to press the RESET button on the back of the wireless module. The POWER LED in the front of the home theater blinks two times.

Turn on the home theater. The LINK LED on the front of the SWA-3000 changes from red to blue, indicating the wireless module has connected to the home theater.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Google "Samsung SWA-4000" The HTz310 is wireless "ready" only. You'll need to purchase this unit for about $100 to make your (Rears only) wireless.

SWA-4000 doesn't adquire signal of HT-TX500 Home Theather

I was having poor audio from the back speakers and didn't even know it; intermittently I'd hear them jump in volume, so myself being a little adventurous, decided to push the ID set button on the back, totally losing my ilnk... after digging and playing, I figured it out:
1.) Turn off the Head (main) Unit 2.) Power on the wireless receiver, being sure it is away from routers, other BT devices, etc. 3.) Push the "ID Set" button on the back of the wireless device and hold it until the lights on its front panel flash. 4.) Point the system's remote control at the Head Unit and punch in 0135.  Its light should turn from red to blue. 5.) Perform step 3 again. 6.) Power on the head unit.
Should link up.
Might be some redundancy there, but it works :)
Also I found that after a few cycles It seemed to work better (perhaps cycled to a better channel?)
