SOURCE: Dell OptiPlex GX150 won't do anything.

try going to the bios by pressing f2 or delete key on the keyboard at the dell logo.
if you are able to enter the system setup screen, reset the bios.
to reset the bios, press num lock, caps lock and scroll lock so that all 3 lights on the keyboard are on.
press alt + e and alt + f keys.
press esc twice
then select save changes and exit.

also try booting through the safe mode by hiiting f8 on the dell logo.

you can also try booting through the dell resource cd or win xp cd.

SOURCE: Need pci Filler For WMP54G OptiPlex GX150 PC Desktop

Now I understand your problem. I just spoke with the Linksys sales department and at this time there is no option for a low-profile bracket for that model. He also did not know of any third party products that would fit. I found this company with many low profile cards and brackets, maybe one will be able to screw onto the card even though it would not be an exact fit.

SOURCE: Dell PC Desktop Optiplex GX260 Doesn't boot

Open up the case and remove any add in cards and memory modules. Try to start up by adding these back one at a time until the unit stops booting normally. The light combination is not one recognised in the user manual so I am guessing you have a non-descript fault with one of your components. Be careful when you open the case as to not disturb the ribbon to the motherboard which controls the power, I have had a very long experience trying to get one of these reconnected!

SOURCE: Dell OptiPlex GX150 won't do anything.

on the motherboard there is a battery. it looks like a watch battery. there should be a jumper next to it with 3 prongs. move the jumper over to the next prong and start the computer.( it will start but will not come on). turn off the computer and put the jumper back to the first position. start the computer again and the bios will be reset
