In windows go to control panel and select power options change the system setting to never off and apply this should fix it.....or change the setting to your needs for idle time out.

If everything was ok before you left your lights on then the battery needs a full charge! The battery will not receive a full charge by idling, to charge the battery you need to take it on a long run in top gear such as a motorway for about 15 to 30 minutes!

Check those hints!
1) Check the brightness, and contrast keys!
2) sometimes, taking out battery, for 1 minute solve some issues.
3) bad inverter video.
4) select internal video, instead outside video (keyboard)
I suspect you have a screen saver set up that blanks the computer screen after 30 minutes.

The power supply board is dead.Those high voltage transformers on the power supply board,one those power coil have a short in it,that why it cause this shutdown a have a loud electrical current noises.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com.Ebay.com to buy a new refurbish power supply board for the replacement,should solved this loud electrical noises shutdown to tv.
you might have shot out your battery because if electrical curent is goging in to the computer (te orange light is going on) but the computer wont turn on it might be a problem with your battey
Try uninstalling the RAM memory for a minute or two and start the machine with no memory, then reinstall the memory and start again, it should boot right up.
ok ... i answered your last post as well. is there a reset button on it. the few lcd monitors i've worked on required pressing the far left hand button on the front to reset it.
