After printing few documents, while trying to print another one, suddenly we got the "4F" message. We tried to reboot, plug-out the printer, change to new color-cartridges etc, but nothing worked. We don't know what we should do now in order to get the printer work again. P.S. We do *not* have a service store. Thank you!!

No ;-)
The encoder strip switched off the ph and has to be set into place again.
see here how to fix it:

(enlarge the browser window to see pics somewhat better)
An advice:
when you have set the encoder strip in pos. again stick some scotch tape on the top of the ph cover where the strip runs thru to prevend the slipping off again on next paper jam ;-)

How to repair error "print unable 4F" in the Brother dcp-135c .
thank alot.
SOURCE: Print unable 32 ?
Print unable 32 is dirt or scratch on the transfer belt assembly. There's a timing mark on the belt that a sensor must read. If the belt is damaged, you will need a new one.

Hi there
With some Brother printers you can try this.
Access the internal maintenance mode by pressing the Menu/Set button, then press * 2 8 6 4 within 2 seconds. This should put you in the maintenance mode menu. Enter 80, and then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3.
This will reset the purge count value. Then the printer will restart, hopefully without the annoying cannot clean message.
Some times this happens because of using cheap compatible ink cartridges if this is the case change the ink cartridges.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
