Hello, I have a Daewoo microwave model number KOR-611Q manufactured in August 1998 and purchased in the USA. It won't turn on when I plug it in, and I'm thinking I should just chuck it. Any suggestions if I could easily (and cheaply) repair it? I was thinking it might be a fuse that needs replacing, but I don't know what they look like and I couldn't find it when I opened the microwave. Thanks a lot! Rob
If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, and a list
of Dealers as required.
Just Google the manufacturer's name and
follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's
web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they
charge for the information that is normally free of charge.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply; I hate to throw it out because it looks good, but I suppose you're right.
Cheers.
