Problem with getting inverter to work...

IT may start if it is not seized after you add oil but if it is making a noise it will be bearing damage and failure will be very close. Get a second opinion as engines are expensive.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

I have two sayonara starclima air con units hot and cold air in our house in Denia Spain. Both units work well but have only got two remotes, one is broken completly and the second one works when wiggleing the batterys. contacts are corroded and I fear this remote will fail soon. Can I purchase new remotes and how do I program them. I suggest the machines are probally 15 years old.

The only thing you can do is try one more board. May be there was some manufacturing defect in the board you have purchased. May the next one will work for a long time.

i believe your tv is getting overheated, possibly from dust getting onto the electronic components inside. or the inverter board for the lcd panel inside is going bad, alot of times it is the capacitors on the lcd inverter board going bad.

next time dont get water on it and if you pushed too hard when you wiped it that makes it worse.
