Have a model SMH9151W Samsung Microwave Oven. The display screen says -SE- or -5E- and it will not operate. I unplugged it several time. It did operate once after that but an hour later it beeped 3 time and the se or 5E showed back up and it will not operate again
I had the same issue on a 2010 smh9151w samsung microwave after installing it and using it with no problem for 5 days. The second time we unplugged the microwave and turned the circuit breaker off and on we didn't reset the clock on the microwave so the display shows :0 and it has been working for 7 days straight now. Fingers crossed that this is a long term solution. Hope this helps. Thanks!

If you (or someone you
know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically
involved.
You can find
helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full

If you would like to

SOURCE: The microwave display shows "--SE--" I have not
SE error indicates a short in the keypad assembly. This will mean the the control panel or smart board will need to be replace.
Microwaves are not good do-it-yourself projects. Microwaves
are extremely dangerous to work on even while unplugged. Even
unplugged some components retain a lethal amount of voltage.
