It was the first time using the nail gun and i plugged it in and i shot 10 nails and disconnected.I connected it again and all i felt was the air escaping and it did not fire anymore.Pressure was at 95 psi
Depends on where air is escaping from. If it is around the trigger then you need a new trigger valve (I have detailed instructions in the tip section on repair) If it is leaking thru the cap you have a pinch o ring or stuck firing valve. Let me know exactly where air is leaking and I will try to pinpoint the problem for you.

It can be confusing these days knowing exactly how each nailer works. For example your nailer has three different triggers available that will function differently. The black trigger is the contact trigger that will fire a nail every time the safety hits the work or (bump fire with trigger held); with the grey trigger one must depress the safety foot against the work first ~ then squeeze trigger. To fire again you must release the trigger withdraw the gun ~ re-depress the safety and squeeze the trigger to fire again. A third black trigger is available that will fire the gun with mechanical arm for production work. You can test the gun for defect by disconnecting air, removing the nails, remove the trigger retainer pin, remove the trigger. Then connect air and press the gun against wood and press the trigger pin with your finger. Not good to dry fire these guns; thats why it is necessary to place gun against wood to absorbe energy. If the gun does not fire return for exchange. Good Luck

Hi, No you can't. They are two different feeds. The F33 uses tape feed and the N79 uses stick feed. The N79 is a basic wood frame nailer that uses 3 to 3 1/4 sticks, while the F33 uses up to 2 1/2 paper feed. The stick nails are the most common for the older nailers and on the box look for Bostitch as the brand to fit, as the N79 was sold under that brand not Stanley. This should Fixya!
SOURCE: was in storage awhile. was working fine than air from trigger.
you need to take off the cap,and check the head valve it may have got stuck, you need to free, you can try this there is a vent on the cap take it off and in the screw hole put a round punch in the hole and tap the round flat punch with a hammer, clean and re-lube with air tool oil,you may need to take out the trigger their is a ring on the valve stem that breaks a lot on N80CB tools, you will see it ,it will be broken, check other rings, hope this helps.

The first thing to do here is to dis-assemble the unit and lubricate it with pneumatic oil. The O-rings should be replaced as well as they are probably dry. This would cause air leakage which will prevent the gun from working properly. See the site below for a complete diagram of all the parts. Use this as a guide to taking the unit apart and re-assembling it.
Keep us posted on your progress.

The high pressure blew out one or more of your o-rings inside. The drive piston should not move freely in the gun so the o-ring around that is definitely one of them. It's hard to damage the metal and plastic parts of a gun short of dropping one off a roof so rebuilding one by replacing the o-rings is always worth it. You should look for a rebuild kit Part Number: RN46-RK
