How can I access Bluetooth for my Toshiba lap top using windows 10

Connecting Bluetooth devices to Windows 10

  1. For your computer to see the Bluetooth peripheral, you need to turn it on and set it into pairing mode. It typically involves pressing and holding the Bluetooth button until you see a flashing light that indicates the pairing is ready.
  2. Then using the Windows key + I keyboard shortcut, open the Settings app.
  3. Navigate to Devices and go to Bluetooth.
  4. Make sure the Bluetooth switch is in the On position. (You'll know it is working because you'll notice the message that reads "Your PC is searching for and can be discovered by Bluetooth devices.")
  5. Select the device you want to connect and click Pair.

Bluetooth cant searching another device? what i should did for that?

Depending on your computer and any bluetooth devices make sure both have bluetooth are either turned on or made bluetooth discoverable
Bluetooth Pairing

Bluetooth pairing is necessary whenever two Bluetooth devices connect to each other to share resources.
A trusted relationship is established between the devices using a numerical password, commonly referred to as a passkey.
Depending on how often one Bluetooth device connects to another, the user might opt to have the passkey saved for future connection attempts or prompt to enter the passkey each time the devices request communication with each other.

Bluetooth Pairing Service
In most cases, Bluetooth devices are paired only once, and the details of the relationship are saved for later connections.
The pairing service, an integral component of all Bluetooth devices, is responsible for maintaining a list of devices that have made successful connections in the past.
It is essentially a passkey manager remembers the specific details for other trusted Bluetooth devices.
If a user has a reason not to allow automatic connections for specific devices, the Bluetooth pairing service will not store passkey details.

Preparing to Pair Because Bluetooth is a standardized-communication method, making trusted connections between Bluetooth devices is a straight-forward and simple process.
Before attempting to pair two Bluetooth devices for the first time, it is recommended to have both devices fully charged, turned on and Bluetooth enabled.
At least one of the devices must be set to discoverable mode, which means for a short period, the device will be announcing its presence to other devices within its range.

Pairing Bluetooth Devices

Have the second device search for other Bluetooth devices.
There are many types of devices on the market and just as many ways to put your device into discoverable or searching modes.
It is recommended you view the documentation for your specific devices to determine how to enter these modes.
Within 30 seconds, you should see the devices have found each other and a prompt to enter a passkey will be presented.

Bluetooth Pairing Passkey

The passkey is a four-digit number you supply at the time you are establishing your trusted relationship between devices.
If a specific passkey is set by the manufacturer, you can try "0000," or you might have to find the passkey in your device's documentation and enter that instead.
After you enter a passkey, the other device might prompt you to enter the passkey you entered. When the passkey is verified on the other device, the two have been paired.
The Bluetooth device and passkey information are stored using the pairing service so future pairing attempts do not have to be made unless desired as a security precaution.

Says searching but never connects. the yba-10 blinks boes not connect

On RXV3900 using the remote there is a submenu for YBA-10WH (submenu shows Trim, Pair, Connect). Selecting Pair causes the YBA-10WH blue light to flash. Once iPod has Bluetooth set to ON it then displays a box showing "YBA-10WH not connected".

First attempt to connect requires tapping this box which produces the invitation to enter a 4 digit pass code. I had several attempts using pass code for my iPhone - all failed giving message "Make sure yba-10 yamaha is turned on in range and ready to pair". I finally tried keying in a pass code 0 0 0 0 and it paired!

Once turned off subsequent attempts to enable Bluetooth were much easier requiring tapping of the box but not requiring entry of any pass code.

Turn off seems to work easiest by using the remote to select the "Connect" option on the submenu and then selecting Enter on the remote - this caues display of "Disconnected" message on the RXV3900 screen.

Now works fine!

On your phone, make sure bluetooth is turned on (settings, general).

While your phone is in discovery mode, turn your bluetooth device on and put it in discovery mode (usually you have to hold the power button for 7-10 seconds).

Your phone will find the device, and you will be prompted to enter the devises PIN number (often 0-0-0-0). Your phone should pair with the device then.

HOW DO I PLACE AN LG BLUETOOTH HBM710 IN "DISCOVERY MODE" ?

Just came across your question while searching for the same answer - Here's what I found out:

When it's off, press and hold the on button for 5 seconds - it'll turn on, but keep holding until you hear the short beep - the light's on and you're where you want to be. Here's the full text that I found from the manual:

-With the HBM-710 off, press and hold the PWR/END button for 5 seconds
(You will hear a short beep and the LED indicator will stay red, when the device enters pairing mode)
-Using your handset, find the "Bluetooth menu" and "search for" or "add" new devices
- Select "LG HBM-710" from the list of devices and pair it with your headset
- When asked for the Pass/PIN code during the pairing procedure, please enter "0000" (4 zeros)
- Once pairing has been completed successfully, you will hear a beep
- After pairing successfully, be sure to "connect" to the LF HBM-710
- If you want to pair with other devices in the future, the headset must be in "Pairing mode"
- If it will be not connected the "Pairing" for three minutes, it will be turned off.
