ERROR CODE 106

Upon install process it makes it to about 0% then gives the following error code. ComponentMoveData had the following error:
media name: data
Componet: app_photoshop
file group: App_PS
file: pdfl50.dll
error number: -106 (refer to the online help)

Then when I click ok it shows this message:

An error occurred during the move data process: -106.

So when I hit ok it closes it all out.
I really need this software loaded and Adobe does not support this version anymore.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Wd 11 error code:0xc0000034

The last line of your error message contains the solution:

"You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disk or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer."

Translation: Start up from the disk that came with your laptop and follow repair tool instructions (or contact the manufacturer to obtain a copy - which you may possibly need to purchase. If you are not under warranty this will possibly be at a reduced cost.) Look for a label on the bottom of your pc for a phone number for service if your equipment is not useable. Good luck!

How to Fix error code Ce-34878-0 on PS4

If you are experiencing this ce-34878-0 error code, please close the application and then install the latest system software and game patch. If the error occurs again, initialise the PS4 system after back-up of the save data and please also submit any crash reports after re-booting your console when the error occurs. Sure the "solution" isn't exactly helpful for those that have already lost their save file, but it's good to have something to refer to when the error hits. Until Sony patches the PS4 for this error, this is probably as close to a fix as we'll get.

Error 106 (net::ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED): The Internet connection has been lost.

The error "ComponentMoveData...Error Number: -106..." indicates that the installer cannot decompress a file. This can happen if the CD-ROM is dirty or damaged, if hard disk space is insufficient, or if the installer conflicts with an application or device driver.

((this is what I'm not exactly clear on))

You could try copying the contents of your CD-ROM (or the essential folders) to your HDD or a network drive. You will soon find out of there is dirt or damage on the CD, and if not, you can easily then install from your HDD or network drive.
try installing the photoshop in safe mode......

PXE-E61 media test failure on Acer Aspire 5050 laptop

Yes, your analysis of the problem is correct. The problem could be with the hardware & while you are trying to reinstall the Windows OS, the software checks on all hardwares before installing. The best solution would be to take your system to a nearest service provider & get the problem rectified. Once the problem is rectified by them, try to reinstall the OS along with them, so that if there is any other problem apart from the above they will be able to help you.

Photoshop 7.0 installation fails with the error message: "An error occurred during the move data process : -106" Upon install process it makes it to about 1% then gives the following error code....

one problem that could cause this error is lack of administrator rights,

right button click the setup.exe or whatever it called and select run as administrator,

Or if it's Vista try the compatiblity help , right button click the app, select properties and select run as XP service pack2 etc

Installing error code -106

what this suggests is that the files cannot be transfered to the hard drive because of either you havent the latest version of .net http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&DisplayLang=en, or you are low on hard drive space or afaulty disc. download from the above link first, then if still not installing try copying all the installation files across to your pc and try again, but check you have enough hard drive space.

YAMAHA CRW8424 gives Track following error..

PROBLEM DEFINITION: Basically, it is a hardware error that occurs when a drive is not capable of following a data track on a CD-R or CDRW or on the other hand, poor power flow may cause the problem SOLUTION: 1. Try use another disc, a disc with a different band. 2. If one doesn't work, you may have to open your system and use a different power connector, making sure no other devices are using the power connector in the same strand. 3. Lastly, if neither the above doesn't work, you may have to send your drive in for servicing as the head may be dirty or misaligned.
