Smells like a mixture of gas and oil when I turn the blower on

Problem started approximately 1-1.5 months ago. about when the season started to change. Every time I would turn the blower on I smelled what seemed to me to be a mixture of gas and oil. A friend walked past my car after it had sat parked from a day or two and said he smelled gas. I checked but could not find a gas leak underneath the car. Is it possible that the connection betweent the throttle body and fuel line is bad?

97 CHEVY Caviler, has a gas smell both inside the car and in the garage. Now parking outside until fixed because of safety reason with excess of gas fumes. Had a shop do a smoke test in the gas tank & they said # 4 injector is plugged. It is also getting harder to start. Monday the 22 of Dec. the shop will put in a new injector to see if this fixes the troubles.
Do you believe this will be the fix?

IF YOU CAR IS RUNNING BAD AND HAS LEAKS THIS WOULD HELP.JUST REPLACE MY BLOWER MOTOR AND HAD TO CLEAN IT OUT BEFORE I INSTALLED THE NEW ONE.

Blown head gasket??? 03 ford e150

Hi, you will need to do a compression check on all cylinders, compare results, IF this is ok, check spark plug cap, lead, rotor arm, distributor cap.

You say plug was "wet & blackened", was that fuel (plug not firing) or oil ( oil getting up past rings into bore )
The latter is expensive. (strip/re bore etc. etc.)

GAS IN ENGINE OIL

The engine is running way to rich, that would be the only reason for gas in the oil, things that cause a rich mixture are leaking fuel injectors or to much fuel pressure, have these checked by a shop, also do u have a check engine light?

When i start my car you smell gas ,and it smoke.

HTML clipboard If you can smell gas ONLY when the engine is running, then the gas didn't get burned completely. It could be the combination of the computer, oxygen sensors, and/or catalytic converter is going bad. If you could smell gas when it's parked, you might want to take it to a mechanic to have your gas line checked for leaks and for pressure test. Here's a website that talk a little about gas smell www.mycarsmellsbad.com good luck.

2005 nissan murano "s" surges and bucks when accelerating.

You need to have your engine flushed and cleaned out. One or more of your spark plugs aint firing. You need to replace them all to include the wires as well. If you dont get your engine flushed, you could blow your engine up.

Gas smell in oil

Gas smell in oil happens
1. when Air/Fuel mixture is too rich
2. Low compression on your cylinders
Have this checked by your mechanic as soon as possible.
