Problem started approximately 1-1.5 months ago. about when the season started to change. Every time I would turn the blower on I smelled what seemed to me to be a mixture of gas and oil. A friend walked past my car after it had sat parked from a day or two and said he smelled gas. I checked but could not find a gas leak underneath the car. Is it possible that the connection betweent the throttle body and fuel line is bad?
IS YOU ENGINE LEAKING OIL ? VALVE COVER AND HAVE YOU HAD IT CHECK OUT FOR WITH TECH2 ? TO SEE IF IT SHOWS ANY PROBLEMS.
IF YOU CAR IS RUNNING BAD AND HAS LEAKS THIS WOULD HELP.JUST REPLACE MY BLOWER MOTOR AND HAD TO CLEAN IT OUT BEFORE I INSTALLED THE NEW ONE.
Some time they leak up top between the floor and the top of tank usually when you fill it up it will seep a bit and odour occours

97 CHEVY Caviler, has a gas smell both inside the car and in the garage. Now parking outside until fixed because of safety reason with excess of gas fumes. Had a shop do a smoke test in the gas tank & they said # 4 injector is plugged. It is also getting harder to start. Monday the 22 of Dec. the shop will put in a new injector to see if this fixes the troubles.
Do you believe this will be the fix?
