I haven't touched a single setting in my computer but I went to connect to a web conversation and my computer simply says "Camera not found". Its not even there in the hardware. What may have happened and how do I fix it?
My laptop is just a month old and it's crystal eye is already malfunctioning.
Brand : ACER Model: ASPIRE 4530
symptoms;
1.once you click your acer crystal eye webcam - no response you will do a series of rebooting before you can activate the cam
2.once the cam is alreading functioning a message will appear " high speed usb connection" cam stop same problem with James
3.encounter series of cam hang up.

If it isnt listed under hardware then something may have happened to cause the computer to delete the file "virus protection or firewall" and it may be that your computer just isnt reconizing the software anymore. if you have an installation disk try to use it and reinstall the stuff and go from there.
