Changing the date and time

Step 1 Press the FEATURE key followed by **8463 Step 2 Press 266344 on the dial pad buttons to enter the DEFAULT password. Your password MAY BE DIFFERENT! The display will show the following options: Step 3 Select CHANGE - the display will show the following options: Step 4 Use the dial pad buttons to enter the hour. You must use two digits for all hours (i.e. "08" for 8 o'clock). You will be prompted to enter AM or PM. Select CHANGE and OK to choose PM. Step 5 After you have entered the hours, select NEXT. The display will show minutes as 00. Use the dial pad buttons to enter the minutes. If you are just changing the time, press the RELEASE (RLS) button to end your session. The time will be changed and the date will remain the same. If you want to change the date, select NEXT. Step 6 The display will show 99 as the year. Using two digits, enter the year using the dial pad buttons (i.e. "05" for 2005). Select NEXT, and repeat to change the month and the day. Step 7 Once you have entered the day, press the RELEASE (RLS) key to end your session. This will save the changed time and date.

the startalk takes does not store the time, it takes the time and date from the phone system. to change the time on the phone system try feature **TIME (8463) password CONFIG (266344) from a phone with the 3 soft buttons under the display it does depend on the model and software level as to whether this will work and also presuming nobody has changed the default password

Programming on the nortel system is done on M 7310, M 7324, or T 7316 sets only.hopfully the receptionist station has one of the larger sets.

Programming should be done from the M7310, M7324 or the T7316E set. Administration access code: Feature * * 266344 which also is Feature * * config.
If asked for a password enter 23646.

When in programming just press the next button(lower right arrow) until you see what you want to change. Then press show ( top right arrow) ,then change if you want to change it. If you pass it, just press back (lower left)
Example: To change the Time & Date Press next until you see Time & Date. Then show Then change Then change again, change it if you need to, Then next again until you see what you need to change. For example; only the hour needs to be changed for day light savings time. Just press next until you come to the Hour. Then Change it. Then press release RLs when your done.

Feature **8463 and the password is 266344.
After that it will give u option of cahnge date and time.

the time change goes off the system time to change system time press feature **7463 enter the admin password then press change and enter new time

Then enter **8463 (do not forget the stars.)
Then enter password : 22742 or 23646

Enter "**8463".
Enter the password (default is 266344). The display shows
Hour: 01
Next Change
Select CHANGE. Display shows:
Hour: __
Cancel
Enter two digits for the hour. Chose AM or PM when Prompted.
Select NEXT.
The display shows:
Minutes: 00
Next Change
Enter the minutes.
Press the RLS button to end, or press NEXT to change the date.
The diplay shows:
Year: 99
Next Change
Enter the two-digit year.
Select NEXT and repeat to change the month and day.
Press the RLS key to save the time and date and exit programming.

Norstar Meridian CICS Time

• Press "FEAT".
• Press "*".
• Press "*".
• Press "266344" (CONFIG) or "23646" (ADMIN).
• Enter password "23456" (ADMIN) or "72787" (SCPLUS).
• You will see "Terminals & Sets".
• Press "Next" five times.
• Press "Show"
• When you see "Hour", press "Change" or "Next" to skip.
• Type in the hour using military time as a 2 digit number.
• Press "Next".
• When you see "Minutes", press "Change" or "Next" to skip.
• Type in the minutes using a 2 digit number.
• Press "Next".

Date:

• When you see "Year", press "Change" or "Next" to skip.
• Type the year in 2-digit format.
• Press "Next".
• When you see "Month", press "Change" or "Next" to skip.
• Type the month in 2-digit format.
• Press "Next".
• When you see "Day", press "Change" or "Next" to skip.
• Type the day in 7-digit format.
• Press "Next".
• When you see "End of List", Press "Rls" to exit.

Nortel Norstar Telephone Systems Changing the time on a Norstar system must be done using a display phone. Using a M7310 or T7316 the right 2 buttons under the display are "NEXT" and "SHOW" respectively.

1. To enter programming mode press "FEATURE" and "* * 2 6 6 3 4 4"
2. Enter password (default = 266344) - display should read "Terminals & Sets"
3. Press "NEXT" 5 times - display should read "Time and Date"
4. Press "SHOW" - display should read "Hour:___"
5. Press softkey "CHANGE"
6. Enter hour - display should read "AM OK or Change"
7. Select AM or PM
8. Press "NEXT" - display should read "Minutes:___"
9. Press softkey "CHANGE"
10. Enter minutes
11. Press "NEXT" - display should read "Year:___"
12. Press softkey "CHANGE"
13. Enter year
14. Press "NEXT" - display should read "Month:___"
15. Press softkey "CHANGE"
16. Enter month
17. Press "NEXT" - display should read "Day:___"
18. Press softkey "CHANGE"
19. Enter day
20. Press "NEXT"

Press your function button then **8463 (spells out time)
Enter your password and follow the on screen prompts.

i had this problem a while ago, you have to set the time from the main phone

Press FEATURE **8463 – Display shows PASSWORD:
Then type in 23646 (Note this number will not show on display)
The display will show hours.
Press CHANGE (or NEXT if you do not need to change the hour).
Enter the hour (00 to 23). If number is less than 13, the display shows AM.
Press CHANGE to select PM.
Press NEXT. The display shows minutes.
Press CHANGE (or NEXT if you do not need to change the minutes).
Enter the minutes (00 to 59).
Press NEXT. The display shows year.
Press CHANGE (or NEXT if you do not need to change the year).
Enter the last two digits of current year.
Press NEXT. The display shows month.
Press CHANGE (or NEXT if you do not need to change the month).
Enter the month (01 to 12).
Press NEXT. The display shows day.
Press CHANGE.
Enter the day of the month (10 to 31)
Press RLS (release) to exit.
