Drawer will not go back in for Jura Capresso impressa

Will not run because drawer is missing, but drawer will not go back in because the machine appears to be in middle of an action. But we can't reset.

For Jura F7 Series, "Tray Missing, can't put it back in". With a small flashlight, look in to the cavity which the tray and grounds container reside in. Along the right side above a slot to the end, you'll see a white micro switch. with a "Tooth Pick" simply press the switch inward (to the right) and hold till the machine cycles the Levcer / Flap up and out of the way.! Put your tray and grounds container back in and begin brewing!! -dh

Open the drawer and take out the box for the grounds. Run a rinse cycle and it should now go back into place.

SOURCE: Jura Capresso Impressa S9- no steam

Hi,

Great solution - solved 80% of the problem I had - would also add to check the pressure relief valve (back of pump where water lines to thermo blocks attach). Noticed presure was still low after cleaning solenoid. Ran steam with cover off top (cup warmer plate) and notice water flow in clear line at top (you will see the line). Went to pump, pulled off hose block at back of pump, and popped (carefully) off the black cap which separates the water to the brewer from the steamer. Cleaned this needle and seat, and the spring too, and the pressure now is extremely high at at the steamer wand. 100% fix now.

SOURCE: Where can I find an Jura Capresso Impressa F9 replacement lid

The only sources I have been able to find are in Europe. They do not always wish to ship to the US however. In the US the dealers always want the repair, but seldome wish to sell parts outright. Try this website for parts.

SOURCE: The drawer will not go

You should visual check inside the drawer compartment. There might have some coffee dregs that fall behind the drawer and this is what blocking it to go all the way in. There is a limit switch that is closed only if the drawer is in its place and when this switch is open the machine give the massage "missing drawer" light on.

So you use a brush and a vacuum cleaner to clean the drawer depart very good from any coffee remains in order the drawer to sit very good in its place so the limit switch will switch off.

Can't replace coffee grind drawer after emptying

That would normally mean that the brewing mechanism is not in the at rest or start of cycle position. Take the bin off the tray and see if you can slip the bottom tray back in now. Turn the machine on, let it run through the start up process and when completely stopped see if you can now remove tray and fit the spent grounds bin back where it should be.

Jura capresso e9 water not coming through spout

Use a pin or a needle on the spout to clean the nozzle head. Most of the time this is due to useing to fine a grind in the machine. You may have to clean the head this way more then one time to get it to start working again properly. If you have any further questions message me back.
Thank you

The drawer can be put inside

what is the problem ?
Is it the drawer cannot be put into the machine ?
If so check that the grounds holder rubber flat is seated correctly on it.

If it is not the tray cannot push home fully.

I cannot get the drawer to close completely on my Jura E8 in order for the "missing drawer" light to go off. I've unplugged the unit to allow chip to reset... nothing. I think the elevator is...

I have the same machine and this seems to happen if the grounds bin is pulled out before it goes through a full cycle. take both the grounds and water trays out. Try to fit the grounds bin around the "elevator", slide the grounds tray underneath that then the water tray as well. It should slide right in then the machine will complete the cycle and work just fine :)

Jura Capresso E8 keeps getting error code 8 over and over. I will clean, remove grounds etc, it will make a few espressos, then back to the error code. I can hear it struggling.

One of the problems that I see with these units is the Grinder setting. Sometimes the grinder is set too fine for Dark and Oily beans. This setting will ( can) clog up the brew screen after less than 10 cups are brewed. Also, running the cleaning tablets through to create a clean starting point may help you. Try turning the grinder to a slightly coarser setting and try that.

Missing drawer light on because drawer shifted before coffee came out. Now something inside is preventing pushing the drawer in

Take out the used grounds container, and put the drawer back in the machine. After the machine has finished positioning, then you can put the container back in the machine.

OPEN TAP message is displayed and the machine will not work

Instructions from Capresso:
-pull out the drawer
-look inside the unit where the drawer has been removed and look for a flap (it's really the first thing you see on the left side)
-without moving the flap, reach your hand under it and up until you feel a flat surface
-this surface will have grounds on it
-feel for screw in middle
-take paper towel and wipe off grounds
-repeat until paper towel is clean
-replace drawer and done!
-do this about once a week to prevent this

Impressa S7 "Clean Machine"

I had this problem and I solved it by letting the machine dry out overnight. Before I turned it back on I removed the drawer and wiped the area inside the internal flap then I used the pressurized air that you use to clean a computer and blew out all of the residue. It has worked well since then.
