Wont copy songs to mp3 player because of write protection

I have many songs that I have either downloaded on my computer through limewire or loaded from actual cd's, and created one playlist that i have attempted to load onto my gpx MW238P player and no matter which method I use to load them onto my mp3 player, a message comes up saying it cannot load them because the files are write protected. I dont understand it, i can copy all the songs onto a cd, but not into the mp3 player? Please help! Brenda

It won't take either downloading from a CD, or from something that is already in my computer. Any help?

To adjust the copy protection setting on your ripped music files,

  1. Open the Tools tab at the top of your Windows Media Player.
  2. Select Options and then select the Rip Music tab.
  3. Under this menu, you will be able to choose the type of music file as well as the quality with which you would like to save the music.
  4. Make sure the box next to Copy protect music is left unchecked.
Your GPX player has the ability to play music files in both the MP3 and WMA format. Make sure to use MTP when transferring copy-protected WMA files.

Cant transfer limewire music from my computer to my mp3

You can't use Limewire directly to transfer songs to the Nextar. You will need to transfer the songs to the Nextar using Windows Media Player. Limewire puts the songs in a folder called "Limewire Downloads" usually. You will need to open Windows Media Player, run the mouse over the "Library" tab, and select "Add to Library." Once the window pops up you will need to add the folder called "Limewire Downloads" - it may take several minutes, but Windows Media Player is going to add all of those Limewire downloads to its own library. Then, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to the Nextar.

I dont know how to load music on my product. I am trying to load from lime wire.

The songs you downloaded from limewire should be in a folder somewhere. When you set up limewire you created a folder where your limewire mp3s would be saved You may have used the default folder. Just find that folder where your files are saved then connect your Mp3 player to your computer. Your computer should recognize it as a drive and Appear in "My Computer". Double click on the Mp3 player icon in My Computer. This will open up the player. Then with the player and the limewire folder open just drag the Mp3s onto your Player. I hope this has been helpful.

Highschool mucial mp3 won't download music from my computer

The nameless mp3 player that you have is probably not capable of playing DRM-protected songs. Double-check the songs that you have downloaded from Limewire, and see if the 3 songs that you ARE able to play are in mp3 format. If so, only transfer songs in mp3 format to the player. DRM-encrypted WMA's and iTunes (AAC) songs will not work.

Cant transfer limewire music from my computer to my mp3

Greetings!
Once you insert the mp3 player, the computer automatically detect the device, were you can see the folder inside of your mp3, create a folder from file, new, folder.

Now open the folder where the music was downloaded usually you can see that file at my document, save/complited folder, select all the file, copy

Open the new folder (which you created) in the mp3 then paste the songs that was downloaded.

To play the music in the mp3 player, just find the folder you created.
Thanks

Downloading music

First, install the software if any that came with your mp3 player and connect your mp3 player. If you want to add music to your mp3 player you can sync with your media player or copy and paste songs from my music folder to your mp3 player that's under my computer. To delete songs or files just go to my computer, click on your device and you will see your files, just click on any ones and press delete on your keyboard. To download music for your mp3 player, you will have to pay for songs at most places like itunes. There is one site that is called LimeWire, just go to www.limewire.com, download and install the software. Let me WARN YOU, that limewire is ILLEGAL and there is stiff penalties if you get caught.

hope this helps you out a little.

Copying songs from cds

It could be because there in WMA format and the ones you download from limewire are MP3.

Try getting the songs of the cd's again and using this converter to convert them and put them on your mp3 player and see if they work then.

Download Converter Here

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in some way.
