Above product is out of warranty. It works only with electrical cord plugged in. It no longer works as battery operated. Can battery be replaced and how to do it?

The current unit sold by Brookstone does not have a power cord. The unit is sealed and the battery is not replaceable. Many units eventually quit working when recharging cycle quits. Only solution is to replace the unit or contact Brookstone for their service center. Probably cheaper to replace the unit.
Core Products will repair most Jeanie Rub Massagers after the warranty has expired. Some of the very early models can not be repaired but can be returned for a $50.00 credit towards a new unit.
It is difficult to determine the extent of the repair until the unit is inspected however, we guarantee the service call will not exceed $89.00 plus shipping.

Actually, no you are not out of luck.. Batteries plus can replace them they replaced mine and the new batteries last twice as long.. just unscrew it and remove the battery pack and give them a call and mail it at them they will do the job and mail it back and it will be good as new.. it only cost me 20$ + Tax Batteries Plus Address: 1250 Northlake Blvd, Lake Park, FL 33403
