Driver for Lexmark X125 with Windows Vista

Lexmark currently doesn't have a driver for that particular printer for vista. the only thing I can tell you is attempt to run it in compatibility mode before you install it

My computer can't "find" a printer, even though is installed..

Hi there,

Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
restart the computer
try to download drivers from the website
after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

lexmark does not provide a driver for windows vista for this printer

The link above is the driver for that printer. Download that driver and then install it. Once you install it, the computer should recognize it.

int he box type X125 for product. Downlaod the driver for it. Hope this helps. By the way, since you metioned a new computer, that I have a X125 and does not work very good with vista...lots of problems...Lexmark said that the printer was not compatible with vista.

Lexmark x1250 won't copy.

Ok, i need a little more info, but make sure it is hooked up to your computer and that the drivers are installed correctly. If you are funning Vista, you may have issues as there are no current support for drivers for Windows Vista

Hi-

There's no available downloadable driver for vista, try going to add printer, select the usb port then select manufacturer name and scroll down on the x125 model if available as resident driver, if none. call lexmark for updates for vista.

go here select x1250 as your model number then your country then language and then your operating system.

you can also get there from here just go to the 1200 series and download driver and will take you through the steps.

Sorry but you cannot use the vista driver of Lexmark x1250 to work with Lexmark X125 since they are not the same type of printer and you're correct that this Lexmark X125 don't have any vista driver because Lexmark didn't make any vista driver for some of there ol printer like Lexmark X125...
