For the past year my BB 9300 has been syncing with my PC with no problems. All of a sudden the Desktop Manager won't connect. It recognises that there is a device there because (as a test) I selected "forget the device"; then when I closed and opened Desktop Manager is brought up Blackberry 9300 (and my device's PIN) as a heading so I reckon it must "see" the device. What can I do to get it to connect to the device!?

You have to isolate the problem. Please follow the steps below:
1. Connect the Blackberry into different USB port of the computer.
2. Try connecting the phone in to different computer to test if there's really a problem with the phone.
3. Try using different USB cable for the phone.
4. Check the user manual to see if you need to set it as "Mass Storage Device" before connecting it to the computer.
Otherwise, you need to consult the phone manufacturer for some advise.
Have a great day!
