The TV just "turned off" while we were watching it, now it just won't power on.
It appears to be a 32 inch.
Some questions:
Does power light come on and if so what color when set is off?
Were you having any problem before where you had to turn set on several times to get it to come on and stay on?

Answers to SD Techs solution questions are......there is no light on whatsoever, and we were not having any problems with the TV before it died. There is no power to it at all. I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, I have tried a different outlet, I have tried manually turning it on without the remote.
If total dead set it will need to be opened and the fuse/s checked. Usually a power light of some sort will still be on====actually good news as in most cases just a fuse went for no reason---if you cannot open have someone check it out for you.
