My atomic clock won't show the outside temperature and I can't get it set for regular time, it only shows military time. How do I fix these two problems?

Hi

If you have lost the outside temperature on the clock display then do the following:-

1. Make sure you have good batteries installed in the remote transmitter
2. Remove the batteries from the main clock and keep them out until the clock display disappears.
3. Re-install the batteries in the clock.
4. Wait until the display returns and includes the outside temperature display as well.
5. Set the clock again for current time/date etc.

88900 Atomic Clock does not read time and temperature.

Batteries must come out of both the temperature sensor (transmitter) and base (clock and temperature display). Leave out for about 4 minutes. Replace the batteries in the temperature sensor FIRST and set it about 5 - 10 feet away from the base. Replace the batteries in the base and leave them both set without touching any buttons for at least 15 minutes (usually only takes 5 minutes or so). The temperature should start to display. You can set the clock manually to the correct time and have it get the updates via radio in the evening or night. Should work after all this just fine. (have done it alot of times this way over the years)

Good luck.

Centrios Atomic Desk Clock/Temperature

Here is how you adjust the time zone:
1.) push MODE till "AL" appears after the minute.
2.) tap "SET" (tap means push but do not hold) and time zone will advance.

3.) THE TRICK: The Time Zone can only be set in the Alarm Mode. Make sure you so not push and hold "SET" until the hour flashes as you would to set the alarm time. You just go into Alarm Mode and tap "SET" to advance the Time Zone by one zone per tap. When the Time Zone is where you want it, tap MODE to return to the clock and set the correct time.

Want to set the clock

Each time you press the set button on the back it selects one of the items that you can set. For example if the "month" is selected by pressing the "set" button then press the "+" key to change it from 1->2->3->4 etc. Each time you press "+" key the month will go up by one. Stop when you reach the correct month. You can do the same for each item including the time zone and daylight savings time and whether you want your temperature to be in Celcius or Farenheit. Hope this helps...
