Screen is black when tv is turned on, no picture but there is sound, how do I fix?
Your backlight may be out....I working on one with same problem...the transformer on the backlight inverter board went bad, its about 12 dollars on ebay....but in your case, would require some troubleshooting to determine if you have the same problem. there is an access panel on the back of the tv, under that is 4 connectors, they are high voltage out to the backlight lamps. you would need a volt meter to determine if the lamps are bad or the board
