SOURCE: I have a Scotts Accugreen 3000 Drop Spreader. How

I found drop-rate tables at http://www.vigoro.com/ProductCategories/WeedInsectControl/SummerFertilizer/ProductDetails/Spreader+Settings.htm and http://www.bayeradvanced.com/media/productlabel/502840A_label.pdf. I don't know how accurate they are, but they are consistent with one another so I'm using them :)

I need parts for scotts precision flow model pf1

My Scotts Deluxe Edgeguard has broken. The cable that pulls the fertilizer feed door open (when you sqeeze the lever) has sheared off where the cable meets the body. Is there some way to obtain the part(s) I need? What about a repair manual so I can figure out what part(s) are required?

My scotts rotory spreader will not spin

The design is quite simple with one wheel driving a bevel gear in a gear box. If the wheel turns the axle shaft and the center pin in the spreader with the retainer/cotter pin does not turn it is likely something has failed in the gear box.

If both wheel spins and the axle does not turn than the drive wheel has disengaged the axle shaft and the cotter pin in the drive wheel needs to be replaced.

The compounds used in the spreaders are corrosive. Usually the gears and axle become bound due to corrosion. By oiling the bearings and wiggling the wheels they will free up,

Knocking in front end had linkages replaced but the knocking is still there

replace the front struts AND the turn plates above them, they call those the "strut kits". it houses a bearing plate that turn with the steering wheel.... if the struts are too expensive to replace right now, just have the strut KITS replaced. Very common with 80K+ front wheel drive cars and almost always an area most people look over. good luck

My scotts spreader propeller will not spin, i have used it twice and clean and maintain it well, when i went to push my yard yesterday the propeller wouldnt move, how do i solve this

Had same problem. Empty contents into a bucket, tip it over and push wheels together. Apparently right and left wheel axles pull out of the gearbox that run the propeller. I think if you can see the flat part of the axle, it has pulled out. Push the wheels together and the axle flat part will engage the gear box and spin the propeller.
