the 3.3v and 5.0v are missing on the pwr card. I also need a schematic to isolate the problem. with as many problems that these units have, i would think that the manufacture would post a schematic on there web site. can you help? I'm trying to fix unit for a friend. thanks.

I suspect the B+ voltage on the power supply can't regulate the voltage needed for the lamps to run entirely. The B+ voltage regulator looks like a small black box with a tapered top. This is dangerous to replace so be careful. Once you get a new one installed this will fix the issue you are having.
This is a common issue for DLP TV's the bulbs they have are made to last 2000-4000 life hours for Osram lamps this is the lamp the Mitsubishi usually uses so depending how old the lamp is this could be your problem I found the lamp you need for a good price

The Capacitors on the DM board need replaceing. The V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com will usually repair that issue. The kit contains the capacitors and the CD with instructions.
Thats a common problem caused by defective capacitors on the DM PWB which prevent the set from booting up. The V26 DLP DM kit at the following link will usually repair that issue and it comes with step by step instructions on how to do the repair. Look under the repair kit category. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
