My mini260 printer has an error message B200 that won't go away.

Several days ago mid print the power went out. Every time I turned it on it would go off. I held down the power button and then it was working or at least the power stayed on. I went to print yesterday and all of a sudden the pictures were printing with streaks and weird colors. I did change the ink cartridge recently and I was about to clean the printer heads when the error message B200 came up and now it won't do anything just blink the orange light. Help me! I love this printer and I have to print pictures out for our school yearbook by the beginning of April.

SOURCE: Orange light blinking

The solution above does not work. It only lights up when you remove the ink tank completely and re-click it down. But the moment you close the lid the head slides to the side and that is when something bad happens and the ink tank is no longer lit up. I can push very hard on the PUSH and it does not light up again. I am about to return my printer as well for the same exact problem. Unfortunately, I mail ordered mine so I guess I'm out the shipping and handling charges.

SOURCE: Canon MP500 Printer head error

Hello,

Print heads for nearly all printers are rated at 2 years. You may also need to clean the tube from the resevoir at the ink supply to the cartridge and clean the working resevoir on the cartridge as well. If you are up to this challenge there is a how-to at your manufacturer's web site or you can have a tech do it. Most people, when they realize how inky you will be getting choose to have a tech do this.

It is best to use 100% denatured alcohol, from your hardware store, to clean these parts and tubing. But, you must take precautions.

DO NOT USE DENATURED ALCOHOL UNLESS YOU READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BACK OF THE CAN.

I'm not kidding about the precautions. I do all this stuff outside when there is a breeze in the air and then I stay up wind of my work.

If you have any questions whatsoever just feel free to comment back to me.

Regards,
Worldvet

SOURCE: Printer will not use the magenta color

I had the same problem. It is most likely that your print head nozzles are clogged. Your choices are to attempt to manually clean them, or order a new print head from Canon.

Attempt the manual cleaning at your own risk, this doesn't always work. When it does not work, it means your print head is damaged.

To maually clean the print head. Printer cover up (so you can get to the cartridges and print head). Turn the Printer Off. Remove all the cartridges (I put each cartridge in a separate zip lock bag). Then flip up the lever and remove the print head.
Now heat (don't boil) distilled water (Iused a good sized cook pan and a plastic measuring cup to pour the water). Find a container you can soak the print head in (I used a deep alluminum baking pan). Pour the hot (not boiling) distilled water over the print head molding where the cartridges seat down (hold the printhead over your diposable alluminum pan). Then dunk the molded print head part into the pan numerous times. When the water gets dark change it (be carefuill not to stain the sink). Then slowly pour the hot distilled over the print head (opposite side from where the cartidges seat in). Eventually no ink will be in the water. Set the print head on a dry paper towel, and let it dry for 24 hours or longer. Reinstall the print head, then the catridges. If it worked, your true colors will return. It make take up to 15-20 photos to get all the ink catridges flowing-be patient. You can also just wait 24 hours after re-installing the cartridges, and hopefully it will take less photos to see the correct color match.

Never keep printing when a cartridge is low or out.
Print a few prints every week. Not printing for weeks causes the printheead and the ink flow to clog!

Good luck. I just recovered my S820 and my i900D using the above cleaning method. Like everything else, your mileage may vary! It cost me $1.29 for distilled water and about an hours worth of time!

SOURCE: Current Problem on Printer """E5"""

This error means waste ink counter is full.

Solution:
1. Start with printer OFF
2. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
3. Release RESUME
4. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.
6. Press resume

SOURCE: I need a new print head

Check if the service station proper covers the black nozzles when the printhead is parked. Sometimes the mechanics change its position and the printhead dries out.
Try to unclog the nozzles with very hot water. Sometimes it helps. The new printhead is very expensive and you may want to buy a new printer instead.
Remove the printhed, put it in a bowl with the nozzles down and fill with boiled water until the nozzles are covered. Wait 15 min and dry the electric contacts with a dry napkin. Good luck!

I have an error message on my printer canon mg6460. The message says B200 It is connected wirelessly, no usb

One of the most common Canon printer error b200, which might mean a potentially large damage error with the computer. A defective print head is indicated by the B200 error. A print head is an element that distributes the ink throughout the paper from the cartridges, implying that it is one of the most critical components of the entire printer.

Canon printer error b200 is a printer problem you probably might have encountered one or several times when while using your Canon printer. I determined to include this since I have seen a lot of complaints about this failure message. Error B200 usually relates to a printhead problem and an error message code B200 will flash on the Screen. Orange and green lights will keep on flashing 10 times as a sign of this error. Caused by some foreign trash inside the rollers or due to paper jam in Printer.

This error generally happens when the printer has used distinct ink formulas. An excellent instance is when replacing or refilling an OEM cartridge with inexpensive printing supplies with dubious toner quality and/or quality of construction. So, I strongly suggest purchasing from legitimate suppliers only if you choose to refill or use the remanufactured ink cartridge. Want instant Solution to contact us on Mentioned Blog.

I have a canon mini260 and its giving me an error 6000

Other than doing a reset, unfortunately your Canon may require repair. By resetting the power, you clear the print buffer and reset certain sensors which may be producing the error.

1) Turn off with power button
2) Unplug data cable
3) Unplug power cord for 10 minutes

Plug power cord back in, reattach the printer data cable and press the power button.

I hope this helps!
