Carosel turns light is on time runs but no heat

The problem is that the magnatron is not getting power. Chance is that if could be a bolwn fuse inside the unit. If the fuse don't fix it then that leaves the charging diode, capacitor or the magnatron, or high voltage xformer of which without technical epertize I would not recomend attempting to replace. good luck

No, that is the "waveguide cover".
It provides very important
protection for the magnetron.
And always keep it clean according to your manual's instructions.

I hate to tell you this but your magnetron may be shot. Its the part that actually makes the microwaves. The best thing I can recommend is get a new oven, magnetrons are expensive and not easy to replace.

We have a similar problem! It sounds like a problem with the microswitch inside the unit that the door is suppose to engage when closed. If not engaged properly, it will not cook. We had the switch replaced last March but it has started acting up again. We can press in on the door and/or lift it slightly and it will cook. Try putting time on the counter and hit start. It the word "cook" appears then try moving the door slightly and see if the turntable starts turning. If not, then you may have a more serious problem. Good luck!
