Nokia E5 is symbian S60, yes, it supports java/.jar apps. and also .sis, just copy the application either cable or bluetooth, there are 2 ways in installing the file 1. via pc suite 2. on your phone,

    if you have already transferred the apps on your phone, just click it then install, or if it still on you PC (and if you have pc suite installed on you PC/laptop) connect your phone to your pc via usb cable, double click on the app on your pc then it will automaticlly install,

Reinstall your phones firmware using nokia softwareupdater. It will solve all these problems.Goodluck

wat i really feel is dat u must have formatted the memory card and after that ur facing this issue.. wat u can do is dat u take ur fone to NOKIA CARE and tell them to resotr all the files in ur memory card so dat ur able to install the .jar files. I did the same.

just plug the mobile to the computer and a new disk will appear in my computer. right click it and click format. now add jar files into it and start using the jar file in the mobile. To ok the answer press hands up icon below.

you didnt told if you have .jar or .jad file in your phone.i m telling you by supposing that you have the file on your phone.just go to the location where you have the file in your phone memory and then when you found the file then see that on the left bottom corner of the phone name option is written.you can open it by clicking your left selection key.there you ll find install option.then after that follow the options and your file is installed.

there are many jar versions available ifor the download. Some times java 1.0 cannot be supported. coz of its older version. this is not a problem. Some java versions does not support. Try to find suitable java applications like jave2.0 ver

The problem is the type of file you downloaded. nokia phones use java applications so you need to download files that end with '.jar' NOT '.sis' or '.rar'. try that again.
