Question about LG LHD65EBL Dehumidifier
I have the LG Humidifier model listed above and it suddenly began showing CH in one of the two windows for humidity and 01 in the other. Powering down the unit, even for 24 hours, does not result in a reset. The bucket is almost empty. The manual has nothing about such codes, what they mean or what to do to clear them. Anyone have a solution?
I had the same problem, and I wound up calling LG's customer support line. The rep I spoke with says that the "CH" code means that the internal thermostat is not able to accurately read the air temperature, and the unit will require servicing.
She gave me a couple of numbers for local folks, and I'll call them in the next day or so, but I'm thinking that this may not be worth the repair, unless it's pretty cheap: I bought the unit for under $100 less than 9 months ago, and I'm not eager to shell out a bunch of money to get it repaired.
