This link is a how to document on repairing the BootLoader:

Your keyboard is likely defective. If you wish to troubleshoot further, you can try the following :

1) Enter the BIOS, restore the default settings, then Save & Exit.

2) UNinstall the keyboard driver and reboot, allowing Windows to install it's Plug-n-Play keyboard driver.

3) Boot into a Linux "LiveCD" distribution and see if the keyboard issue persists. If so, it's likely a hardware problem, rather than a Windows software issue.

If these tests fail to provide a resolution, you should consider keyboard replacement.

You may need to re-install the operating system all over again as you had tried to restore your computer using Restore Disc but failed. In these cases, you will have to try to wipe all your data and install OS once again.

Windows boot manager

Hit F8 a few times while your computer starts to boot, a boot selection screen should come up. Try selecting "Last Known Good Configuration" and see if you can boot up without running the repair install.
