Not getting any picture on the screen

Is there back light or is there a picture if you shine a flashlight at the screen, looking at an angle?

Those screens are worth more than double the price of the whole tv NEW.

It sounds like your TV is in Shop Mode.
Shop mode is a set of picture parameters that have been optimized for a store showroom or display floor. Shop mode does not allow you save any picture settings such as brightness or contrast.
To get the TV out of Shop Mode press and hold the Menu button on the front panel for three seconds, the picture will blank momentarily then reappear with "Dynamic Mode" shown on the screen. At this point the picture parameters can be changed and saved.
If this method doesn't work for your TV there is an alternate method that might.

From the buttons on the front of the TV (not the remote):
1) Press the Volume + (increase volume) button
2) Whilst the volume button is pressed, press and keep pressed the menu button
3) Let go of the volume button and keep the menu button pressed for 5 seconds
4) After this time the screen should go blank and "Dynamic" will appear at the bottom of the screen.

sounds like your vertical circuit was going bad then might have overheated and killed the power supply. a repair cost might range around $300.00

Unplug the cable box for an hour,replug it back in.Should get the cable box to reboot to updated the softwares.Might work than,tv seem to have picture,somethings on the screen,words mean ur tv still works.

You can only hear the audio from one picture at a time. You can change the volume the same way you would normally change the volume. Let me know if you have any further questions.

yes. tv has a circuit which controls current to the red, green, and blue piture tubes. you wont get picture until they are balanced. adjust the screen controls until it comes on faster. it should only take maximum 20 seconds for a picture. gaurantee it will fix it. adjust the screen control

if there's a channel and volume display but no picture,the problem of your tv is ABL..it is a resistor value from 10K ohms up

I was tring to remove the concave off my screen and came across a setting where you can make the picture larger or smaller. On the TV, not the remote, press and hold the menu button, press and release the power button, press and release the volume up button and release the menu button. P0 and V0 will be displayed on the screen press the volume up button until the V0 is V76. Press the channel up button until P0 is P11 and press the volume up/down button to make the picture larger/smaller. If you need to center the picture press the channel down button until P11 is P10 and press the volume up/down button to center your picture. I hope this helps
