listen for micro switch #14 clicking when you press #11 and #17
#7 may be off set or even cracked
remember to unplug the refer when repairing

Chances are is a bad water valve. The water valve is on the back of the fridge at the bottom. You will see the water line going into it.

Make sure your manual doesn't say something about inline filters, or a float that might be sticking in off position. Depending on how ice is made sometimes they have a float to where water rises so hight then gets shut off to freeze and form the ice.

heres a part number for the valve, somple enougth to install just turn off the water supply and installe ne wvalve, exact replacement. soundsas if its not closingt correctly allowing water to tricklel in part number 4389177

the problem is that the bottom piece is missing from the ice maker housing. i have the same problem and im looking for that peice
Look at above diagram. #18 needs to be replace. Trim pops off then there will be several screws. Goodluck...

I had the ice maker turned off all day yesterday, hoping to defrost anything that might be frozen, but no difference today. But I do have a repairman coming Friday, so it looks like it might be more than I can handle on my own.
