From manual at pag.3: err code 3Appears when pressure value did not increase during cuff inflation: 1) cuff is not fastened 2) air connector is not connected properlMake sure cuff tube is properly connected to monitor, cuff is securely fastened and exhaust rate is between 2 mmHg and 5 mmHg. Make sure air connector is inserted properly into tube and monitor. refer to manual

If your blood pressure mahine is like those fro Walgreen's:
Walgreen's Blood Pressure Error Readings.
Error Codes
Err 0 No pulse is detected
Err 1 Inflation rate is too low
Err 2 Systolic reading unattainable
Err 3 Cuff pressure is too high
Err 4 Diastolic pressure is outside of operation range
Err 5 Cuff deflated too fast
Err 6 Cuff deflated too slow
Err 7 Systolic pressure is outside of operation range
Err 8 Overall pressure is outside of operation range
Err 9 Cuff is unable to inflate to the necessary pressure level
"ERR 3" means that the magnetron units have failed in the microwave.
Food will not cook or heat up when the microwave is in use.
This code is different than "ERR 1" or "ERR 2" because with those the
microwave is still operational. "ERR 3" means a complete failure.
The magnetron is the main source of power and heating in a microwave.
Magnets work inside a magnetron tube to create the heat and voltage
needed to cook items.
Bring the microwave back to the retailer or a repair shop for
service. You may also consider purchasing a whole new microwave if the
prices are cheap enough.
Error 1 - "disc is dirty, damaged, or is inserted upside down"
I quote other solution comments:
I've been getting the Err 1 and Err 3 for a while now, my headunit needs replacing but I haven't had chance yet...
I've found that the cold weather makes it worse as the CDs get that cold
they are covered in condensation so the CD has trouble reading them..
In my experience when you get an Err 3 it's basically knacked and needs
replacing and Err 1's can sometimes be read problems - what's the disk
like?
Mine has started giving Err 1's on brand new CD's (not CDRs) so she's probably having trouble focussing....
If the car is less than 5 years old the headunit should be covered under warranty (ie free).
Possible explanations and work-arounds based on various blood pressure
monitors..net is if it has worked religiously like mine had and this
error comes up, and the simple fixes below do not work, there is
something internally wrong with the unit..there does not seem to be any
customer reset or obvious fixes..contact the manufacturer for service..
Error Description Potential cause and remedy
«Err 3» No pressure in the cuff
An adequate pressure cannot be generated in the cuff. A leak
may have occurred. Replace the batteries if necessary. Repeat the
measurement.
Err 0 No pulse is detected
Err 1 Inflation rate is too low
Err 2 Systolic reading unattainable
Err 3 Cuff pressure is too high
Err 4 Diastolic pressure is outside of operation range
Err 5 Cuff deflated too fast
Err 6 Cuff deflated too slow
Err 7 Systolic pressure is outside of operation range
Err 8 Overall pressure is outside of operation range
Err 9 Cuff is unable to inflate to the necessary pressure level
--------------------------------------
Error No. Possible cause(s)
Err 1 No pulse has been detected. Cuff may be positioned incorrectly.
Err 2 The arm was moved during the measurement.
Err 3 Inflation of the cuff took too long. The cuff is not positioned correctly.
Radio should start straight away. If it is the same as the 3000 series , the numbers are entered as numbers of times you push sequential keys. ie: code 1579 , push number 1 once, push number 2 five times, push number 3 seven times and push number 4 nine times. If the display is flashing " ERR " you will need to leave the ignition on until it stops flashing and the display reads " CODE" . ( it can take up to an hour) Hope this helps.

I had a similar problem which responded to the use of a CD cleaner disc to clean the laser lens reading the CD. The "err" messages stopped and the changer started to work as it had before. Perhaps this will correct your problem too.
When you bought the car your dealer must have given you that code or you can call them and let them know your registeration details they will give u the code for free all you have to do is to give them your details.
Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
