The Down Arrow and the View buttons are disabled on the T6050 as default because reverse paper feeding is not recommended on the T6050 printer because they only have one pair of tractors which are mounted above the platen. If the printer tries to reverse feed paper, it could cause a paper jam unless the platen gap is open sufficiently to allow the paper to feed down through the gap unhindered.
You can enable reverse paper feeding if you are sure that a paper jam will not occur. This is done as follows. Set the printer to Offline. Press the Mode key: display will show Offline Normal. Press any Arrow key until display shows Offline Oper. Press the Forms/1 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Oper Forms. Press the CPI/2 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Forms RevPap. Press the LPI/3 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows RevPap Enabled. Press the Enter key and reverse feeding will be set. Set the printer to Online. Once the reverse paper function has been enabled this option will need to be saved to prevent the setting being lost when the printer is powered off. To save the Menu Configuration; Put the printer OFFLINE Press the MODE button, then press the DOWN ARROW until CONFIG is displayed Press FORMS/1, then press the DOWN ARROW until PRINTER is displayed Press CPI/2, then press the DOWN ARROW until SAVE is displayed Press LPI/3, and with POWERUP shown in the display, press ENTER.

Disable anti theft ignition lock 2005 Buick rendezvous ultra

With a master PASS-Key III key, turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.

IMPORTANT:

This procedure is not available on vehicles equipped with option code (Z49).
If replacing a BCM with an GM SPO replacement part, perform the procedure to setup a new BCM prior to the 30-Minute Relearn Procedure.

Observe the STARTING DISABLED DUE TO THEFT message on the driver information center (DIC), after approximately 10 minutes the STARTING DISABLED DUE TO THEFT message on the DIC will turn off.
Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds .
Repeat steps 1-3 two more times for a total of 3 cycles or 30 minutes .
With a master PASS-Key III key, start the vehicle. The vehicle has now learned the key transponder information and the PCM has now learned the fuel continue password.

IMPORTANT: The vehicle learns the key transponder information and/or passwords on the ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

MY grand prix pontiac 2006 key is disabled due to I left the trunk open and a message said system disable due to theft system

Strange, I have never seen that message and I have a 2004 and a 2007. On most GMs the system will reset by either using the unlock function on the remote or unlocking the drivers door with the key. If both of those are ineffective, you can probably go thru a key relearn procedure.

2003 cadillac cts turn key on and a message comes up that says starter disabled remove key what does this mean and how to repair , thanks

STARTING DISABLED REMOVE KEY
Refer to Theft Systems Description and Operation in Theft Deterrent

STARTING DISABLED REMOVE KEY
The radio illuminates the STARTING DISABLED REMOVE KEY message when the VTD system has disabled the starting system. The radio receives a message from the theft deterrent control module via the serial data circuit requesting illumination.

Your best bet have it towed to a qualified repair shop .
The vehicle theft deterrent (VTD) system functions are provided by the theft deterrent control module. When an ignition key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and the ignition is switched ON, the transponder embedded in the head of the key is energized by the exciter coils surrounding the ignition lock cylinder. The energized transponder transmits a signal that contains its unique value, which is received by the theft deterrent control module. The theft deterrent control module then compares this value to a value stored in memory, learned key code. If the value is correct the theft deterrent control module sends a random generated number to the transponder, this is called a challenge. Both the transponder and the theft deterrent control module perform a calculation on the challenge, if the calculations match the theft deterrent control module sends the fuel continue password via the serial data circuit to the Engine control module (ECM). If either the transponders unique value or the calculation to the challenge is incorrect the theft deterrent control module will send the fuel disable password to the ECM via the serial data circuit. The components of the VTD system are as follows:
• Theft deterrent control module
• Engine control module (ECM)
• Ignition key (Transponder)
• Ignition lock cylinder
• Security indicator

First try another key if you have one.

My 99 cadillac diville message stater disabled

If you have a key with a resister in it , it may be the ignition cylinder itself. If you do not have a resister in your key , you should check for bad body grounds along the fenders and firewall. You can also try disconnecting the battery negative cable for 20 secs. and retry.
