Can't seem to transfer files to computer

Have two Olympus recorders...VN-3100PC (newest) and VN-960PC. I'm getting a funky error message when I try to record new files. It says that there is no time remaining, but there do not seem to be any files on the recorder. On the other recorder, I see several files, but can't get them transfered. I do have the Olympus installation disk, and the drivers appear to be current. Any ideas????

The memory is probably corrupt. Use the reformat feature from the menu. Any recordings will be lost.

I am on windows 7 with a vn 960pc digital voice recorder. Problem: I can not transfer folders (files) from recorder to PC. The computer reads the files, detects the recorder but won't transfer folder...
Probably a bit late but I got my Olympus VN-960PC Digital Voice Recorder to work on my MacBook Pro running Win7 with Bootcamp by using this site and DL's from there....

I can't transfer my files from recorder to pc
This problem can typically be solved by unplugging the device from your computer's USB port and plugging it in to another USB port on the same computer.

Also be sure you have Olympus Digital Wave Player installed and open with your Transfer Options set to Auto Transfer. To do this, follow the steps below:

Open Digital Wave Player > select Transfer from the menu > select Transfer Options > under Auto Transfer, check the box which reads "Transfer all audio files after detecting Recorder."

Can't transfer files from B menu folder
try to move the files to a new folder one at a time then transfer... to move the files press play to play the file, then hold folder button down for 1 second, then press + button to select folder, then enter to move... but do this one at a time because one of the files may be corrupted

Digital Voice Recorder VN-3100PC transer from PC back to recorder
With this particular model of recorder that functionality is not possible as when the recorder is connected to the computer it is not a USB Mass Storage Device. It will only files to be downloaded to the computer not uploaded back.
