Hi,

If you have the SX -200 series 410 then here is your manual.

http://edocs.mitel.com/UG/EN/SX-200_SS410_ug_en.pdf

If you have the SX -2000 series 410 then here is your manual.

http://edocs.mitel.com/UG/EN/2k_410.pdf

It looks like from reading them though, that your IT department (PBX Administrator) will be the people you will need to contact to reset your code. Or if that does not work for you then I would contact Mitels customer support and see if they can walk you through it.

Hope it helps, and let me know if you need more help or information.

Thanks!

I forgot my PIN number to my voicemail.

You could go into your voice mail and press the prompts to set up your PIN. Voice mail will get you into your settings usually. Try long pressing the number 1 to access your voice mail.

If you already know how to access your voicemail, try using the last four digits of your phone number as your initial PIN. That is the way most phones used to be set up. If that works, then you can create a another PIN to your liking and no longer have to use the last four digits of your phone number.

I have put a main greeting on my Norstar M7310 phone for all 5 incoming lines, however one of our incoming lines has grabbed a personal message form another extension and callers get that personal message...

You need to know what extension is causing the forward directly to voice mail. Chances are that this extension has ringing lines programmed to it and the forward on busy is to voice mail. ANY PHONE THAT HAS RINGING LINES SHOULD NOT BE SET TO FORWARD ON BUSY. If they happen to be on the phone when a call comes in it will go straight to their personal mailbox.

Need to reset nec phone

Easiest way to reset the phone is to unplug it then plug it back in. If you are talking about resetting the voicemail associated with the phone extension, that's a little more involved. If you need the voice mail reset, you need to have the voice mail administrator (typically the receptionist) go into his/her voice mail and choose the MGR option if using the display "softkeys" and follow the prompts to reset the users security code or voice mail acct. If softkeys aren't available, follow the voice prompts to "system manager" and either delete the security code or reset the extensions voice mail entirely.

How do I send a call to internal voice mail?

Use feature 986 (transfer to VM) then enter in the co-workers extension number. That will bypass the extension and send the caller directly to his voicemail.

One of my extension's voicemail won't pick up.

Hi, make sure that the phone is set to go to Voice Mail, 601 *** ( Voice Mail number) forwards all calls, 602***(Voice Mail no.) is to forward callers to Voice Mail when that extension is busy or unanswered. To clear forwarding 600. I have sent you a link to 1 of our videos on YouTube to help, or take a look at www.abbeytelecom.com

HOW DO INDIVIDUALS RECORD PERSONAL GREETINGS?

It's done in the same manner. You dial the voice mail port from the extension and it should gate into the user's mailbox...if it exists.
By default the extension is 165 or 500, but it could be different.
If they never had working voice mail, they'll probably get the tutorial. If they did and it's someone else's box, you can delete it as an administrator (from 999 not 998) and add it again and it will clear the box and come up as a new user.

Once the box is established from remote or a different extension than their own, they can press #6 *ext at the main greeting to access their mailbox.

Need to set up user voicemail box (new employee)

Go back to your vendor and get the password for mailbox 999 and the instructions to log into it.

The mailbox exists or it wouldn't ask for a password (they're assigned by default), so you need to go to mailbox 999 and chose option 6 1 3 which is mailbox administration reset password. That will clear the password and you can log into the voice mail automatically from the extension by dialing the voice mail access code.

Post back if you have any problems.

Delete old voice mail - program new voice mail

You can usually access the system voice mail setup from any extension.

Press Speaker

Dial ext 200.

When asked for security code, dial *,2,# (dial it twice if there is no code).

When main greeting begins, dial 632.

Using the soft keys under the display, press MORE, then MGR, then CHBX or, follow voice prompts if non-display phone.

Follow voice prompts. Remember, 1=Yes, 2=No.
