Hi, did you ever get an answer to your question? I have an ET20 which, after several months of non-use, has now stopped working. The standby light is on, it makes a startup 'noise' but then does nothing. None of the other buttons are illuminated. Is this similar to your problem?
The problem is most likely a warped plastic housing around the color wheel. When the wheel is forced to stop, the projector will go to standby and the lights indicate a problem.
hi,
Just try to reset the lamp hour of your projector. For resetting the projector do the following.
While simultaneously holding down MENU/HELP, ENTER and Down arrow button on the projector, Press STANDBY/ON on the projector.
Remember one thing lamp hour reset is recommended only after the lamp replaced. Before going to buy a new lamp just reset the lamp hour and confirm that the projector doesn'thave any other problem.
If these doesn't help then check the lamp of you projector chances for lamp became faulty.
ok
Your projector key panel locked you have two option to operate the projector
1 . Use remote control press MENU the menu window displayed.
use DOWN ARROW key and select SET SETTING.
press ENTER
use DOWN ARROW key to select PANEL KEY LOCK.
press RIGHT ARROW key to OFF the panel key lock
press ENTER and then press MENU key to exit the menu.
now you panel keys are working
2. If you loss your remote control then;
When the key panel lock is ON keeping the power key on the projector key panel pressed for 10 seconds turns the projector ON when it is in standby mode, and turns the projector to standby mode when the power is on. If you keep pressing the MENU key for about 10 seconds when the power is ON, the lock will be released and "panel key lock" is automatically set to OFF.
Hi!
Is your projector connected to a source? ( Computer, DVD, or any device) make sure the connection is tight/properly plug in so that the projector will recognize the device attach to it and override the standby mode.
Hope this helps, thanks for contacting Fixya. Please keep us posted of issue. Cheers!
This works on a couple different Toshiba models -- might work on yours...
Make sure the main power switch is OFF. Hold the "ON", "MENU", and "INPUT" buttons at the same time and turn the main power switch on. Keep them held until the yellow power standby light comes on, then let go. It is done.
