THERE'S NOT ANYTHING MORE TO TELL. First of all says it does not recognise the cartidges, yet they are the correct ones. I turned of the printer and the computer and then turned it all back on again and now it flashes '1' then an 'e' and then a 'C' ANY IDEAS PLEASE?
The
problem could be due to a communication failure between one of the printheads
(cartridges) and the All-In One (AIO) or by a short in one if the printheads. Please follow the steps
below to identify and fix cartridge issues:
Testimonial: "Cartridge was faulty, returned it to store and they replaced it free of charge. Very helpful advice. Thought I had to buy a new printer!"
SOURCE: installed new 28 and 29
It could be that your cartridges need some cleaning. On your computer, launch the Lexmark Solution Center. Click Start menu > Programs or All Programs >Lexmark 2500 Series > Lexmark Solution Center. From the Maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them. Try to print again.
