PDF PRODUCER WILL NOT WORK

After installing databecker pdf producer, my computer is not converting any type of files into pdf, I've been really carefull, and even compare the settings with a classmate that has the same software installed. His works, and mine even after I choose the pdf driver gives a printer document error. It is frustrating, I'll really apreciate any input in this matter. Thanks: Darren

PDF Producer worked for me, with Windows XP but is very broken when I loaded it on a my new machine which has Vista. Is there a Vista fix?

The same problem!!! I installed this a few years ago, and managed to find a phone number for their software engineering location. I called, and found a surprised engineer, who actually gave me a fix. After that old machine's hard drive died, I have recently tried to re-install it on a new machine, and the same old problem surfaced, with no solution in sight now.

I have installed PDF producer on Windows XP but in trying to convert documents to PDF from Word,Excel etc etc by going to Print and then usually(on previous computer) it goes to a page that allows you to save as a pdf rather than actually print it comes up with a "failed to print" balloon.

Frustrating as the documents print OK on my Samsung dedicated printer as normal/standard documents.

Your help would be appreciated

Thanks
Terry

Need update for Windows 7

Successfully reloaded my PDF Producer in Win 7 environment. Key - need to skip autorun file and run in troubleshooting/compatibility mode using administrator permission.

Insert the CD and open with explorer. Move to the setup directory and run setup.exe in troubleshooting mode. Accept default to use win XP model and let the installer run. It took several minutes for the install screens to sort themselves out and begin the process, so give it enough time to figure out your OS and antivirus environment.

I am unable to uninstall PDF Producer Proffesional after migration via PC Mover to Windows 7 and it is not operating properly.

Option 1: You can purchase the "Final Uninstaller" a system utility to remove the unwanted software ie incompatible to your new OS or
Option 2: Delete the Folder from the program files and use the registry cleaner to clean the remnants.

Note:- If you are not so tech savwy use Option 1

Print driver for Windows 7

You may need to upgrade your product. I see PDF Professional 4 is Win7 compatible on the company's web site. The Windows Compatibility Center doesn't list the product.

Alternatively, you could install the older version in a computer with XP (either a dual-boot or virtual computer). If you have Win7 Pro or Ultimate, you can run the XP mode (two programs to download and install from Microsoft). Otherwise you'll need a valid product key for XP. You may need to place files on external media to transfer them from the real computer to the virtual one and back.

I hope this helps.

PDF producer

You can use another pdf converter, there are many pdf converter in the market. Compared to other versions of pdf converters,i find Advanced PDF To word more appealing as it more faster to convert a huge PDF file to .doc without any quality lost, it also has more configuration option. http://www.blog.advancedpdfconverter.com
