If you have the speakerphone option enabled in system programming, you may just have the mic turned off. Try pressing Feature then 1 while the phone is idle. The mic light should light up if it wasn't already lit.
Depending on the phone... try and remove the current bluetooth device. Close the headset. Go to the phone and choose discover, or search. Open the headsetand press and hold the big button. It should then turn purple and should be recognized. After this, it will ask for a passcode.
The purple light will not stay lit as long as the mic boom is closed. Also make sure the batteryon theheadset is charged before doing this.
open the boom (mic) right when it turns to solid blue!

close the mic and hold down the button until it becomes purple. Open the mic and it should stay steady lit purple. Then you can pair it with your phone. I found the manual online because I had lost mine as well. Also, make sure any old phone you were using it with is off so it does not connect with that one. Good luck!
"Hmm this may sound like a stupid solution that doesnt work but what i did is...,
#1 I Held the button to make the violet light go on
#2 when the violet light is on dont just flip the boom mic, flip* the earpiece with it.
*note: when fliping the mic and earpiece, dont open slowly, flip it open fast and keep it there." I do want to note that my passcode was reset to nothing during my 3 months of troubleshooting.
[Mute /Auto Answer] is a dual function button.
Mute flashes when it is on and Auto Answer lit solid. Both of these features toggle on and toggle off. Auto Answer will turn on and off during the on-hook condition. Mute is employed during call.
If these lights are not associated with the Mic working, you may have a bad set.
If the MIC lite is not lit you must press "FNC 1" to activate the microphone. If the MIC lite is lit but the problem persists, the extension is not programmed to be handsfree or you may possibly have a bad phone. If the extension needs to be programmed handsfree, it will need to be done by a qualified tech.
