Try unplugging power cord for 10 sec. or for over night. That might be the trick. I did the same trick on a satillite receiver and a DVD player that got stuck like your tv is doing and it worked, doesn't hurt anything to do so. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 42" Plasma TV Problem

the problem for 7 blinks is an Interface1.gif board. Had mine fixed yesterday. Apparently there is a glitch in the interface board that sends signals to the television. Basically the glitch shorts out the board and the t.v wont turn on and you will see the power light blink 7 times pause then 7 more. They replaced the board with a new one and updated the software1.gif on the new interface board. It works like new and i couldn't be happier to be watching it again. Hope this helps everyone else out.

SOURCE: Panasonic Viera 42" TV won't tun on

This problem happens when you connect a DVI-HDMI input to the back of the set. It can happen other ways too though. Press and hold your power button, which will reset the unit to it's factory defaults, and should return it to normal use.

SOURCE: Viera Link not work between two brand new Panasonic devices

You need to select setup from the TV menu then switch the Viera link on. I think retuning must have switched it off.
This worked for me

1.You may have the magnet of a speaker too close to the TV.
2.Turn off other electrical devices in the house one at a time.
3.Faulty cable.

Puzzler.

SOURCE: Panasonic Viera TH-50PX60U Plasma is stuck on one

Forced to factory default: press and hold [VOLUME ( - )] on the TV and press [MENU] on the remote 2 seconds. Exit: Unplug Power to reset.
If it does not help, the main board need to replace. For further questions, please add your comment.

How to connect viera link

What is Viera Link? Viera Link allows the control of other Panasonic home AV devices via the television remote control.

By pressing the Viera Link button on the television remote, it is possible to turn on and navigate the menus of other Viera Link equipment. Please note, Viera Link requires an HDMI connection between the television and the external source.

More control functions have been added with each new generation of Viera Link compatible products. However, it is important to note that the newer functions only work if both products are from the same year of manufacture. Therefore, if an older source is used with a newer year of television, only the older functions common to both years will work.

TV won't turn on with remote (new batteries)

Sounds like a power supply problem. The blinking light is never a good sign. Is it still under warranty?
