SOURCE: G5 Graphics Card Freezes or begins to show lines on display

Since you are able to see your mouse pointer move, the display is refreshing so the problem is with something other than the graphics card. Generally software / OS related.

So assuming you aren't experiencing a hardware failure try the following...

Boot from the CD the computer shipped with.

Insert CD and restart the computer holding the "c" key
Your computer should boot from the CD

If so run disk utility from the CD and repair the disk as well as permissions. If there are any errors repair again.

If this is successful your computer "should" be repaired. If it is still freezing, use your CD to perform a Archive and install which should keep all your personal settings and installed software intact.

Cheers

SOURCE: The full screen on my i Mac moves whenever the mouse moves.

Hello, this is an option that is enabled in the system preferences panel: Go to the apple menu, click system preferences, go to "Universal access", and in the "Zoom " section, click the "No" button. Then it will go back to normal

SOURCE: G5 has insomnia won't stay in the sleep mode

Usually this is caused by a USB printer unnecessarily clamoring for attention.
Disconnect ALL your USB devices and the problem ought to go away. Then connect them one by one to find out which the culprit is.
To zap PRAM, shut down the Mac, then push the start button and immediately hold down Command-Option-P-R until you hear the chimes pass by three times. But I don't think this will affect your problem.

SOURCE: imac Flash Player locks up Bluetooth then crashes

Do you know for a fact that Bluetooth is at all involved? Try attaching a wired mouse -- if the wired mouse also freezes, the problem does not involve Bluetooth.
Flash is notorious for causing system problems on Macintoshes. Try reinstalling the most recent version of Flash.

Testimonial: "Bluetooth KB dies same time as mouse. USB mouse continues to work. I did get latest Flash. I guess you're right,Flash and Macs don't mix well! Thank you for response."

Photoshop cs3 is freezing my system as this problem occurs on our different specifications systems

The most common cause of computer freezes is a corrupt registry.
Most likely your registry is bloated and overstuffed with an assortment of useless pieces of data. The operating system while running your computer has to pick its way through all this excess material. There will be bits of programs which were not completely uninstalled, parts of programs which were never completely installed, fragments of miscellaneous data, useless drivers, and a multitude of other bits and pieces.
The answer is to clean your registry and remove all the material which is not needed.

Often there is also spyware which is using your computer for nefarious purposes and slowing its operation.
The answer is to scan your pc with a best anti-spyware to clean spyware/trojan/virus.

DVD reader

Hi I'm sorry you are having trouble,
OK, when was the last time your CD/DVD trey opened properly when instructed by pressing the eject button on your keyboard ?
This (and all other apple computers now) machine does not have a button other than the keyboard eject button to eject or open the trey. The eject button is usually the last key at the top right hand of the keyboard. If you are not using an Apple Keyboard, it does not always work. And, sometimes, that key no longer sends it's request to the Mac... SO,
Have you tried another keyboard ?
Is there a Disk in the reader? Sometimes the disk itself confuses the reader and paralyses it and restarting won't help it even freezes the system....
That is why there is another way to get the CD drive to open or eject a disk that won't come out:
Restart your mac or from an off position, turn on the Mac and VERY QUICKLY press the mouse button ( If you have a mighty mouse, be sure to click the left side of the mouse ) and hold that mouse button down until the disk ejects, depending on how much ram you have, it could take 10 seconds to 70 seconds, be patient...
If the Mac boots without ejecting the disk, then either your mouse or keyboard are not connected directly to the mac, this does not work well through a USB Hub, or the mouse or Keyboard are defective.
Keep trying it with other keyboards or mice until you get that drawer opened.

Hi!

The speed is easy to change, your OS has a speed standard on all mices, whireless or not same speed. That speed can be changed in the controllpanel------Mice-----settings

But since you want a corder mice i can recomend you a
Logitech MX400 Performance Laser Mouse or a
Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer3.0

Both are good ones, but to really get the best one for you YOU have to test them yoursellf, see if the fits your hand, feel if you like them.
