I have an error code of 10030 does anyone know what this means and can I clear it as it was printing fine just prior to this error.

Error code 00010030 signifies that there is some failure with the Multi Sensor. The Multi Sensor is located on the Printhead Carriage, and consists of a blue light, and the sensor itself. If you look at the Printhead Carriage, you'll notice a graphic of a pair of scissors on the side. Right below that is where the sensor is located. Dust, debris, and excess ink may have accumulated over the sensor, causing it to give a false error code. Clean it, and if that doesn't work, replace the sensor.
Or if you're in a real jam you can turn off the paper size feature and the paper alignment feature under printing preferences on the printer itself. This will disable the sensor and you can get it to print. This works better when using rolls vs. sheets. This got me going until I could get a new sensor.

there is no room under the scissors to see or clean.....is there a more detailed description of where the sensor is?
