Emachine is stuck in a loop started with not reading any cd but would play dvd. Tried to fix it and got stuck in a loop saying BOOTMGR missing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

choose the option that says disable automatic restart on error and see what error you get.
Also try the Safe Mode option.

I Fixed it. Had to change out the cd/dvd rom and put the repair cd in it.
