I have a imperial heavy duty commercial freezer that as soon as you plug it in within a few seconds shuts off. Does anyone know if there are fuses or relays

The best thing to do is to Google
make model spare parts,
or
make model parts schematics.

If it was a fuse, it would blow and not run again. They do have a device called a 'clixon' that senses overheating. It could also be a faulty Run Capacitor. There is a relay for the compressor according to this.

Kenmore freezer model C10BLEM blows circuits. I just bought it used. At original owners it worked well. I plug it in and after a couple of minutes it blows the circuit. I plugged it into the furnace...

If it is a chest freezer, almost certainly it is the compressor. Only way to check is to pull the power plug out then remove the compressor wires from the terminals then make sure it doesent touch the frame of the freezer, then plug the power back in and see if the power trips again. If not, there is the problem.

Your fuse range is too small, change it with a bit higher range.

Aquired 3 door victory in existing bldg. Service

First check for bunrt wires that can be grounded, then you can disconnect the compressor and plug the freezer and if doesn't blow the breaker , the compressor is bad ,if still blows them ,put the compressor back and try the fan , then try the other fan(inside one) or also could be the light switch, or the defrost heaters.

Hello I own a whirlpool Fridge + Freezer.

Hi lewis,

This is very suspect if it blew straight away I would suspect the compressor going to earth, I am still not convinced with the comp after all ts ten year life is up, It could be something to do with the thermal overload on the comp if it has one.
The compressor does run for 12 hours but in that twelve hours does it reach temp? does it actually switch off on its normal routine?
where about in the uk are you?

LOAD CLICKING SOUND WHEN PLUGED IN TO ELECTRIC

did you just get the freezer or move it recently? this unit doesnt have any fans so I'm thinking the compressor is somehow out of place and when you plug it in the compressor is hitting its steel shell from the inside. remove the compartment cover on the side then plug the freezer in and see if the compressor is making the noise..

My ice maker 10amps fuse burn out when turn on the machine

This may sound too simple. A fuse is a safety. It usually blows when the amps are higher than the fuse rating. Since yours blows immediately, I would look very closly for a pinched wire, a crossed wire, or a wire that has rubbed through. Once that is eliminated, start isolating components one at a time. Check their web site. It's pretty good. Also, their tech support line is pretty good. It's worth the wait. 1-800-233-1940.
