This may help in your situation. The following link explains how you may be able to clear the blinking clean light problem:

Now, keep in mind all dish washers
are not alike and have different panel options. If you do not have the
same set up that I have mentioned, the tech sheet for your dishwasher
will explain the touch pad functions. The tech sheet is located behind
the lower toe panel under the door and lists the proper sequence of
buttons to push for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
NOTE:
Sometimes the tech sheet is located behind the inner door panel. You
will need to remove the screws securing the inner panel to access it if
this is the case. Make sure you turn off the main power breaker before
doing so.
Sometimes this can be a momentary glitch in operation.
However, if the problem keeps reoccuring the number of flashes is an
indication of which circuit is causing your problem. Again, refer to
your tech sheet to determine this.

I am having the same issue as described above. I think it is either the timer, thermostat (temp assure), or thermostat (temp boost) that needs replacing. The dial gets stucks in both the wash temp boost cycle and rinse temp boost cycle. However, I don't have a picture of the temp assure or boost part. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks. -Bill

SOURCE: Hi, I have a model 587 kenmore dishwasher which
Assuming the water supply is on to the unit, check for a bad, stuck or clogged water fill valve. Some have a screen that can get plugged. You will need to turn off the water supply, remove the front lower cover, drain any remaining water out of the machine with a shallow pan, and then check the fill valve. You will probably have to remove it to do this. If you aren't comfortable with this kind of service, it's best to call a repair shop.
Another csue of this could be a problem with the dishwasher control board, but again, it's more advisable to have it checked by a repair shop.

Do you hear a 'click' when it is supposed to start filling the machine--if not, then the water inlet solenoid has likely failed. Make sure the water is turned on under the sink and there are no kinks in the supply hose. Hope this helps!
